I bought a used iPhone from gazelle.com and within a month of having the phone it shut off and wouldn't restart. The whole warranty process was a painful back and forth trap where I was strung along step-by-step: 1) Fill out initial form including IMEI 2) need pic of IMEI 3) need pics of front/back of phone 4) need repair shop detailed quote 5) Fill out payment form. Each step had time constraints which serve to nullify the claim, e.g. the repair shop quote "you are not yet authorized to proceed to a repair or an exchange at this time. You have 2 weeks to provide this quote after which your claim will no longer be valid and this damage will not be claimable."
Overall a very time-consuming rigorous process with "2 weeks or you get zero" timelines built-in, all intentionally so. Returned $230 of $303 purchase. I guess I'm spoiled by Amazon returns. NEVER AGAIN.

ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE COMPANY!!!
Absolutely terrible company, do not sign up for their service! You will get screwed over when it's time to make a claim, at that point you won't be able to sign up for insurance with another company then pay hundreds if not over a thousand to fix/replace your phone.
I created an account and passed the diagnostic test you do on the phone to get approved. This was including taking a picture of myself in the mirror to show that my screen was intact. Approved, no issues.
A little after a month after signing up with WarrantyLife, I dropped my phone and broke the screen. Perfect, I have insurance for this! NOPE! They told me my thumb was covering where it was damaged in the picture I sent in! Like what?! Why didn't you have me take two pictures from different angles? So if you break your phone and its on the lower part of screen you just get denied? I took the selfie picture EXACTLY as the model in the demo picture took theirs, pushing the photo button on the bottom of screen. The hard up/down volume buttons I usually press for photos don't work in their app, you have to take the picture pushing button on screen. I would imagine they have it disabled so they can deny anyone that has a crack on lower part of screen and say you are covering it.
I WAS BLOWN AWAY THAT THEY DENIED MY CLAIM AND THEY IMMEDIATELY TERMINATED MY SERVICE. If I had known they were a SHADY COMPANY I would have bought insurance elsewhere! Now I'm stuck with the inability to get insurance elsewhere AND a $350 out of pocket cost to fix the screen on my phone.
BUYER BEWARE: This company will do ANYTHING to not pay to repair your phone. Do not fall for their scam. Go to another more trustworthy company. It should be illegal what they did to me. The workers at this company should be ashamed of themselves for scamming people!!!

Worst cell phone insurance company on the planet. They have lied numerous times in order to get out of covering my screen repair and will take up to 5 days to respond to my emails. There is no one you can talk to on the phone, they only have an answering service that takes messages. I am going on 3 weeks now with a broken screen, this company is extremely frustrating and the repair approval process is extremely cumbersome.
You have to go get an estimate yourself, email it to them, wait for them to respond, find another device to take pictures of your phone with to send to them for proof, print a form, fill it out, scan it, email it back, wait for them to respond, contact them days later when you haven't heard back, wait more days for them to respond. Apparently you also have pay for everything yourself and then wait another week or so for them to Paypal you the reimbursement for repair. This company is a joke and not worth the stress, inconvenience, and hassle.

Was a little taken back when I could not talk to a person. However, the team would respond to my questions very quickly and kept me totally informed. Was pleasantly surprised that the whole ordeal/process was so easy!!
The time from our first contact to receiving our reimbursement for the repair was less than 8 days.

Avoid at all cost Stole Phone & $450
I had this warrenty for 4 years. When I tried to use the warrenty they told me my phone was worth less then what they are willing to pay (which on swappa it is currently worth $266). They keep lieing about the worth despite me giving them screenshots of swappa and them having no proof. This doesn't matter since they told me to pay to ship my own phone in for $200. I reluctantly did so and they ghosted me on email and all support calls. They now stole $450 in warrenty payments and stole my phone all while making me pay for shipping and tracking

I had no thing less than a 5 star experience ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. It has been by far the easiest insurance I’ve ever worked with when I come to insuring my electrics and doing a claim. I had absolutely no difficulty and did not have to wait long for a response. They answered all my questions that I had along the way and will definitely recommend to someone looking for phone insurance.

I was so grateful for this service and the opportunity it provided to get my phone repaired. I wish there weren't so many hoops to go through to get reimbursed, but it all worked out well. I was grateful for the service!

After a few messages, I was given simple instructions to return my phone, and was issued a full refund by PayPal within a short period of time.

I broke my phone screen and had questions about what to do. Response was quick and easy! Warranty Life made the repair process a breeze. I highly recommend!
Good service
Took about a day to get the ball rolling. But once it got set in motion, everything happened quickly. They are not open on the weekend. Those are the only 2 things I would change if I could. They reimbursed me $250 as stated in the warranty plus $25 for the smart saver in the app. Very grateful for this service. Purchased again for my new screen as well.
