Although I didn’t keep the clothing I ordered because it was a gift for a friends daughter and it wasn’t suitable. The outfit was nice and the communication from the owners was very good and friendly. So I give them 5 stars for this.

Hilary, Sue and their wonderful team have an incredible eye for helping women choose pieces that genuinely suit them. In fact, they care so much about their customers that they simply won’t let you buy something that doesn’t flatter you or feel right.

They may gently encourage you to try styles or colours you would never have picked for yourself - but somehow those are often the pieces that attract the most compliments.

It’s such a warm, welcoming shopping experience with honest advice, no pressure and a real understanding of personal style.

I visited Wardrobe At The Cross and received a very warm welcome. I was shown around the store and received a special personal service. I was left to browse and knew help would be on hand if I needed it. The selection of clothes and accessories were a breath of fresh air. As a colour analyst and personal stylist (Image Consultant), it was wonderful to see so much colour and also felt reassured, knowing items are both ethically sourced and sustainable. The items are not the usual high street monochrome and stereotype fast fashion items but genuine unique one off pieces that make your wardrobe both different and individual. I of course couldn't leave empty handed and left with a beautiful soft white/pinky floral blouse made from beautiful organic cotton. I will be 100% recommending it to all my clients, business associates and friends.

I’ve bought a number of items from Waldrobe at The Cross, even though I live down on the south coast, and I’ve been consistently impressed.

Their Saturday morning lives are brilliant, and the response times to any queries during those sessions are amazing. The website is really easy to navigate, and the product descriptions are clear and genuinely helpful. Any time I’ve had a question, they’ve come back to me very quickly via social media.

Everything I’ve ordered has arrived within a couple of days and is always beautifully packaged. I did have one item that didn’t quite work for me (I’m quite tall, so it was a bit short in the body), but the returns process was seamless and customer service couldn’t have been more helpful.

I already recommend this shop to my friends—many of whom have since bought items themselves—and I just wish I lived closer so I could visit in person and take advantage of their styling services.

I would highly recommend Waldrobe at The Cross to anyone.

From the second I walked into the store, I could tell how passionate Hil, Sue and the team are about sustainable fashion and pieces that will last and flatter for the over 40s and 50s. The style advice is genuine and I've walked out with my goodies feeling a million dollars. I'm not local so the website is a godsend and there's always lots of new styles and brands with style tips from the team. Highly recommended for responsible, everlasting, ever-flattering style!

Wardrobe at the cross is a fantastic independent boutique. The store is beautifully presented with a well-curated selection of brands offering something abit different from the usual high street.

This wonderful boutique stocks the most beautiful selection of clothing and a curated collection of accessories and footwear, many of which you won’t find on the high street. Wardrobe is a very special place to shop and it’s made even more special by the lovely Hil and Sue who run the business. You are guaranteed a warm welcome by both of these wonderful people if you visit and you are bound to come out with more than you bargained for. Or at least I do! We need more of these special places on the high street where a genuine passion for looking after the customer shines through as well as offering a wonderful array of sustainable, high quality products.

From the second I walked into the shop I was made to feel so very welcome! I was feeling down and frumpy and was going to a party that evening! Hil, welcomed me in, made me feel good about myself and helped me choose a gorgeous outfit for the party!

I ABSOLUTELY love this shop!

I have bought lots of pieces here. But recently I went in and spent time with Hilary, she is WONDERFUL, she put time aside to help me choose items, with such care.

I’m like lots of 50+ women and don’t always know what suits me anymore, she was terrific. We had fun, laughs and she was so dedicated about me going away happy.

I’ve since bought more items I love and am looking forward to booking for a styling session with Hilary - kind generous and an expert at what she does!
