Absolutely terrible delivery experience. Not only that the driver handled the item with no care, the straps holding the box together ripped and the box just about holds together, but also felt it was a bit too much to put it inside the house at least into the post room, hence the annoyed handling. So I am now left with a boiler sat downstairs, single woman with a shoulder injury. Didn't even ask if I needed help bringing it up, which we could do together fairly easily. However, unable to do anything by myself.

Maybe you should remove all your vehicles off the road for other road users safety. Followed one of your vehicles from your base to Manchester and not one indicator seen or used so obviously you have a massive vehicle/road safety issue or your drivers think they are above the law!!!!!! Not to mention running red lights.

If you don’t want your orders delivered this is the place to go, don’t expect anything delivered on the day they say and don’t expect any apologies for messing you around

I just wanted to say how friendly and helpful amber was. she helped me so much with my delivery and made me feel loads better as I was stressed about my delivery being late. If I ever ring again I want to speak directly to her!

Thank you to the 2 man team in Edinburgh who quickly and safely delivered 2 large heavy boxes into my building .

They took pity on my being unable to move their load from the kerbside.

What started as a problematic day due to a failed delivery, this was due to my supplier and not Walkers Transport, however, Rachel in the office went above and beyond to assist, arranging my pallets to be split which helped us keep the job rolling.
I can’t thank you enough Rachel, sorry I’m a little late posting but what a great job in the end. Thanks Rachel.

I don't usually rush to write reviews, but when something is good, it needs to be recognised.
I had to try and track down a delivery that was due and as I didn't have my consignment number, was expecting the usually huffing and puffing, but when I called I spoke to a really helpful lady called Rachel who only needed the postcode and within a few minutes had found my pallet and given me all the details I needed, I then had to call back 5 minutes later to change the delivery date and spoke to Janet, who was just as lovely and helpful. Great service from Walkers Transport customer services, the ladies are a credit to the team

No delivery yesterday - today running over 3 hours late. Zero communication until 24 hours later and on the 17th June there text stated they would be delivering on 16th June. I had to call them up, spoke to a lovely lady called Megan who promised to call me back before she left at 4pm. She didn't. No update from the driver and no communication from him yesterday either. My builders stayed late for that delivery, but they didn't rock up with the tiles - £800 worth. If you are a business and thinking of giving a courier company a long term contract - do not chose Walkers. It will reflex badly on your business too. I will never order from Tiles Direct again, and neither will my builders, due to terrible communication and ridiculous delivery service.

Very disappointed with this company. We ordered 4 bags of slate (around 800kg) and paid extra for a Saturday delivery that had been arranged weeks in advance. On the delivery day only 3 bags arrived instead of 4.

We tried calling the company the same day but nobody answered the phone. The driver said there was “no label” for the missing bag, and later the company claimed the label had been lost.

The fourth bag was only delivered after the weekend, even though we specifically paid extra for Saturday delivery. Weekday delivery is free, so paying extra was pointless.

To make things worse, we asked the driver to place the bag near the gate, but it was left next to the house instead. The excuse was that the pallet truck was not charged. That is not the customer’s problem.

Because of the company’s poor organisation, we had to arrange people again and wasted our time. Very unprofessional service and poor communication. Would not recommend.

I was expecting consignment delivery today. All the day C S was lying that it will be delivered till 5 pm. I rang 3.30 pm and they assured it will be delivered till 5 pm. When I rang 5 pm they said driver couldn't find pallet this morning so they were giving wrong information all the day. So unreliable and rubbish company.

I ordered tiles from Wickes for a future delivery date. However, due to the way Wickes outsources deliveries to suppliers(which I didn't know), the order was scheduled much earlier than agreed date. I made multiple calls to both Walkers Transport and Wickes to rearrange the delivery, as the order weighed over 250kg and was kerbside only. Living on the second floor, I had no capacity to store the tiles in my flat ahead of the planned date.

Despite my efforts to reschedule, the driver arrived at approximately 8:00am while I was still on the phone with Wickes. He refused to listen to my explanation, shouted at me, and said, “I don’t work for Wickes and I don’t care.” He then left all the tiles at the entrance to the car park and drove off.

Shortly after, the building manager contacted me to say the tiles which were clearly labelled with my name, were blocking access to the car park door and needed to be moved immediately. I have rarely felt so let down over a purchase that cost a significant amount.

When I contacted Walkers Transport to report the incident, they showed no accountability. I was told that many customers complain about their drivers’ behaviour, as though this were somehow acceptable. They made it sound like it was my fault to not to understand how supply chain works. The entire experience was extremely stressful and poorly handled.

In the end, the building manager had to arrange help to move the tiles into my flat, as I had no alternative but to accept the delivery. I was effectively forced into receiving a large, heavy order a month early, with no practical way to manage it.

This was a highly frustrating experience. I received no empathy from Walkers Transport staff and had to deal with an unnecessarily aggressive and unprofessional driver. I would not recommend Walkers Transport to either individuals or businesses.

Delivery late (delayed day and late on the day) with poor communication and attitude from driver and customer services. Very unpleasant experience and in future won't order from suppliers who use this company.

A very poor experience with this company. They were delivering on behalf of Wickes. We had changed a scheduled delivery a week ago but the two companies failed to communicate. Despite assurances the delivery would be on 31/3, it arrived today. The driver refused to listen to the fact that it was the wrong day (I had to leave for a medical appointment). He left a pallet of very heavy tiles on the pavement - and drove off saying it was 'curbside only' and he would not help carry them into the house. So the wrong day, dumped on the side of the road and a driver who made it clear he didn't give a f***. The tiles were too heavy to lift and I had to ask our Wickes agent to come round and help. We've invested several thousand in this project. we did not expect such appalling delivery service. Beware - we have no choice over who delivers supplies, but if I had a choice I would never use Walkers.

This is the level of professionalism they offer.
Despite giving us no notice on the delivery, we call them to ask to leave the delivery inside the main doors to the side.
We mentioned my wife was not able to lift weight due to pregnancy.
Despite this the driver courtesy was to leave all in front of the building doors, blocking the access for the residents and creating some safety issues.
The company won’t take responsibility for the rude behaviour of the drive towards clients that, in the first place kindly asked for a little extra help due to circumstances as this now needs to be raised with the retailer.
A job well done!

Received a text with tracking details to advise delivery on Thursday 29/1 to advise of delivery on Friday between 2-5. Called at 16:45 to be advised driver ran out of driving time allegedly and the delivery would be Monday morning. After calling depot in Leeds I’ve found out pallet is not out for delivery and not traceable. Currently waiting on someone calling back. This has resulted in tradesmen being cancelled. Found out tracking label came off pallet, Courtney from Walkers called back and confirmed delivery later in the day around 5 pm. More communications and tracking would be more helpful in the future.

Delivered to my neighbour despite me telling the delivery driver that it was the wrong address. Put the pallet in the middle of their path so they couldn't get round it. For good measure, broke a bag of cement grout on the pallet so it went all over their pathway (deliberately I expect). Took me an hour to shift the goods and clean up my neighbours path.

I had ordered garden stones from another company who use Walkers Transport to perform the delivery. I had paid extra for a specific date delivery. I received an email saying that the delivery was on its way and was estimated for the day I had requested. No time given at this point. On their website they suggest that they will give a two hour window to allow you to know when the delivery will take place. At 12:33 (after waiting around all morning) I was told the two hour window was 14:57 to 16:57. At 13:10 this changed to 13:47 to 15:47, so an hour earlier. However, at 15:44 another note moved this to 15:57 to 17:57. Then at 16:10 I received a phone call to tell me the delivery wasn't arriving at all I on what date did I want to re-arrange the delivery. for. The lady on the phone who was quite apologetic did not know why the delivery had not been made. A full day wasted and no understanding of why the delivery did not take place. The original company will reimburse for the money I spent to arrange specific delivery date - but that does not get my time back.

With our colleague Denise on holiday, we needed to get some pallets out quickly but didn't really know the process . We gave Caroline at Walkers Transport a call for some help, and she was amazing — found a gap in her day, whizzed over to our building in Trafford Park, walked us through the process, and before we knew it, the lorry was outside ready to collect the pallets. Fantastic service and a real lifesaver. Thanks again, Caroline and the Walkers team!

Shocking service , change delivery dates dont keep the tracking updated . Had 2 deliveries by this company in the last 2 months (Still waiting for 1) and both have been very poor !! Have had to lose days at work because this company does not deliver on the dates its suppose too , why companies choose to use this company to deliver their goods is beyond me they just make the seller look bad ,steer clear of any goods supplier that use this shower to deliver their goods.
