The staff could not have been more helpful, professional or engaging. Fast and efficient, nothing too much trouble. Special shout to Lexi and Joel, couldnt be faulted... also every staff member we interacted with was just sd good as one could hope.
Food was excellent. Love to see the chefs working. Had several side dishes, we loved it. They even managed an all the service crew Happy Birthday sing-a-long.

The salad was hard, unappealing lettuce leaves thrown in. When I mentioned it, I was told, ‘That’s how it comes,’ and that it’s up to the customer to specify how the steak is cooked. This attitude shows a lack of care for customers. I expected better quality and service. Won’t be returning!”
Westgate Wagamama
Fabulous dinner this weekend! Very busy and lively but very much enjoyed the atmosphere and really enjoyed the food. Service was simple and polite and we were made to feel very welcome.
Bournemouth Wagamamas
Me and a friend visited Wagamama yesterday around 2:30 ish the food was great as usual and staff generally seemed kind and attentive however after we payed we stayed for another 15 mins before leaving.As we were leaving we crossed the road and a staff member ran across and grabbed my friend by the shoulder claiming our bill hadn’t been payed.as we tried explaining we had the receipts and statements saying we had payed she be came agitated saying that if our banks said pending it wasn’t payed( we did not mention anything to do with our bank saying pending or show her statements) we did offer to come in the restaurant and sought it as I can understand that they may have been a system error but she ignored us just saying we hadn’t payed until a second staff member shouted across the street that it was payed and they both just ran back in.although I understand that problems with people leaving tabs r an issue we had clearly payed and were offered no apology for the mix up(or grabbing my friends shoulder)which made us leave feeling both embarrassed and very uncomfortable.i will however say the majority of times we have been before have been amazing never having a problem but unfortunately will probably not return to this location again.

This is our goto place. Always a wonderful experience, pleasant staff, amazing food, never anything to complain about! We come away in a good mood doing the happy dance every time. Service is always with a smile 😊

I came here with my family and it was amazing. The staff was so nice when we sat down we asked them to take a photo and they took multiple so we could choose one we liked. The food was 10000000/10 if I had a choice to eat here or at another fast food the first thing that would come out my mouth would be Wagamama’s no doubt is want to eat here I would highly recommend.

Had an awesome Boxing Day family meal at the Spinningfield’s, Manchester branch with an amazing host Ashley, bubbly, personable and a good balance of being attentive. She gave a thumbs up to the new hotpot choice which packed a flavoursome punch. On point food with on point service.
Kelly-Wagamamas Bridgend
Kelly in Wagamamas Bridgend provides a 5* service and always ensures we are happy with everything. She is very friendly and is one of the reasons we keep coming back.
A waste of time……literally !!
We have been fairly regular patrons for over a decade of various Wagamama restaurants including the Trinity and White Rose Centres in Leeds, York city centre and McArthur Glen. We would have to say that of the 4, the one we favoured the least was the latter, although we did find the standard of the food had improved some months ago, encouraging us to visit a number of times recently. However we had seen that the prices were rather steep considering what you got. That said we did decide to call in a few days ago looking forward to a Donburi and a Ramen at just about midday.
We noticed that all the “al fresco” tables adjacent to the upstairs pedestrian thoroughfare were occupied but virtually all of the large tables were free, plus some of the other 2-seater ones at either end.
We proceeded to the “Please wait to be seated” sign next to the reception desk, where I noticed about 5 waitresses all within 20 feet or so. One approached us and while we were expecting to be asked if we had booked and perhaps escorted to a vacant table, we were bewildered when we were handed a “drinks” menu and told someone would be with us shortly. I watched 3 other waitresses walk straight past on their way to seated customers and then pass us on the way back to the far counter.
We could not for the life of us figure out the issue here. It would all have made sense if the place was mobbed but it was more than half empty. We kept trying to catch someone’s eye to no avail. We lasted a total of seven minutes of being effectively ignored so having planned to go on to Monk’s Cross afterwards, decided to go straight away to the excellent Prezzo for an Italian, where despite the restaurant being virtually full, we were approached immediately and were seated with food menus within 2 minutes.
I don’t think we’ll be returning to McArthur Glen’s Wagamama in a great hurry in future.
Wagamamas, chapelfield Norwich
Went to Wagamamas at Chapelfield in Norwich yesterday. There was a bit of a queue, despite there being many places to sit inside, I think we we were the third couple in the queue.
After a short wait we were greeted by a woman with an odd bjork style of hair. She handed us menus and asked us to move back away from the doorway so that we were outside the outdoor seating area and then got everyone else to do the same. EXCEPT for one couple who weren't at the front of the queue, who were allowed to wait inside.
We waited and waited while I looked inside the restaurant at all the empty tables, none being offered to guests. After a while I got fed up with this situation and asked a different member of staff about being seated and he said he'd see hat he could do.
Then Bjork finally came outside again and he spoke to her and I could see from her reaction that they were clearly talking about the fact I'd asked to be seated and she was clearly on the defensive when talking to her colleague.
Finally she came over and took us in to be seated at one of the tables that had been standing empty, it was an 8 seater table. She also sat another couple next to us on the same table.
So I decided that it had been insulting enough to be made to wait so long for no apparrent reason & I asked her why she was insulting customers while making them wait even though there was a lot of free seating. "Because I'm the host and it's solely my job to greet & seat people" she told me. I suggested again that to leave people outside when there was clearly seating available was insulting & I'd noticed that she's not the only person working there - or was she? I asked. She repeated again the fact that she is the host & also that she makes sure the tables are ready for the guests. She was visibly angry that I even doubted her - at this point I counted 18 free seats just at the front of the restaurant.
So this amazing "host" had the table all ready for us - right? No cutlery whatsoever in the basket & when our order was taken I commented to the server that I couldn't see cold drinks on the menu - well that's because our awesome host hadn't given us a drinks menu!
but once she got lost and worked on making the queue outside even longer we were looked after until I asked who I'd imagine to be the manager for some ice because my iced tea was warm tea, she never came back & I had to wait until almost the end of the meal for a junior server to bring me ice.
What a crap experience. Why have they got a control freak running the front of house? and why is there such a big queue when there's clearly more than enough free seating inside (and out) for all the people waiting.
I've been using this restaurant since it first opened but this visit was plain and simply insulting because of the way we were treated.
There's no way I'll be queueing like that again. And while we wanted to try more than we ordered, we ordered the minimum out of principle. Your loss Waggas
Absolutely disgusting
Absolutely disgusting! Filthy, Dirty outside seating area. Sticky dirty tables and sticky table mats…..food rank….chicken looked more like gristley pork. Got food poisoning and been in bed and sick all afternoon, so if you fancy a nice dose of the shivers and cold sweats and a day off work, go to Wagamama’s @ Norwich and eat there!!!

Also I’m an omnivore not a vegetarian but often go for some of their vegetarian options as they have some surprisingly good vegetarian and vegan stuff / seems to be something they do really well.
The food is delicious however...
The food is delicious however, I like to have a starter and then a main and it seems a bit random how everything comes out at different times, regardless of what you order. If you don't mind tapas style dining, this is for you but I wasn't personally keen on this element for this particular night out. And we were in and out in an hour so dependant on what kind of night you want I guess depends on the review?
