I can highly recommend using VrapOn taxi!
It’s not possible to create an account with a Danish phone number, but we contacted their customer service via WhatsApp, and they quickly set up an account for us. The service was excellent – they even made sure we had the same driver for our trips to and from Durres as well as to the airport.
Our driver, Taku, was incredibly kind and accommodating. Unfortunately, we ran into heavy traffic on the way to Durres and arrived later than planned. Still, without us even asking, Taku had arranged for two sunbeds to be reserved for us so we could relax as soon as we got there. We can warmly recommend traveling with him!

Good polite driver but diff price charged to app
Good polite driver - friendly - not to sure about cost - app said 2810 charged 4000 lek - didn’t argue just paid the 4000 lek - what price should I pay in future ? - having contacted the admin team - they will be speaking to the driver about his lack of professionalism & over charging - ensure you pay what’s in the app- if you want to tip that’s fine.

Useful taxi app in Albania. Albanian Uber
VrapOn was a very useful taxi app in Albania. At first, I was sceptic if it was legit or not, but after my first booking, from Tirana Airport to Tirana, it became my travel companion.
