I would like to share some feedback regarding my recent experience with your platform.
I find your commercial strategy to be lacking in basic transparency. Advertising a service as a 'free tool,' only to retain uploaded user files and demand a paid subscription before releasing the processed, defect-free video, is not only misleading—it fundamentally undermines customer trust.
Intellectual property and the handling of personal data contained within user videos are serious matters. Using the promise of a free tool as bait to acquire user content and force a paid subscription after the fact is, in my view, an unprofessionally deceptive practice.
I hope you will reconsider your marketing approach in favor of upfront honesty; transparency with users is always the true mark of professional integrity.

I already canceled my subscription three times, starting in June, and I never got any confirmation, just the message on the shitty page that it's canceled. They still were deducting money from my account. I tried even to delete my account now because, in September, they still charge money from our bank account. I have gathered all proof. I am going to the lawyers. This is a scam company. They make it really, really hard to delete your account, and even after deleting, no confirmation whatsoever.

I am extremely disappointed with the billing practices of STARII TECH PTY LTD (vmake.ai).

My subscription renewed automatically, and $9.99 was charged to my card (Invoice #IAZ471PD-0002). I contacted their support immediately to request a refund, as I no longer use the service and have generated ZERO credits or content during this new billing cycle.

Instead of showing basic customer care, their support team sent an automated response refusing to issue a refund, hiding behind their Terms of Service while keeping money for a service that was literally never delivered or used. Retaining funds for zero usage is an unfair business practice.

I strongly advise caution to anyone subscribing to vmake.ai — double-check your auto-renewals, because once they take your money, customer support will refuse to help even if you haven't touched their product.

I demand a full refund for Invoice #IAZ471PD-0002 immediately.

I signed up for Vmake and used it for less than a day. The AI video enhancement feature produced badly distorted, unnatural-looking faces, nothing close to the quality improvement advertised. It was completely unusable for what I needed.

On the same day, I raised this with customer service immediately, explained the issue clearly, and provided screenshots as evidence when asked. What followed was a genuinely frustrating back-and-forth:

First reply: a request for evidence (fair enough, and I sent it).
Second reply: a suggestion to try a different feature, alongside cancellation instructions.
Third reply: a generic line about "sharing feedback with the relevant team."

When I pushed again, directly and clearly, for a refund: they finally responded that memberships are "non-refundable once activated" despite the service failing to deliver what was promised.

On top of that, their cancellation process instructs you to click "Upgrade" in the account settings in order to find the cancel option. That is not a reasonable design choice for a company whose product doesn't work as advertised, it reads as a deliberate attempt to make cancelling difficult and to create extra opportunities to be charged again. Reading other reviews since, I've seen several other people describe the exact same experience.

If a service doesn't do what it promises, customers should be refunded without a fight. Vmake made that as difficult as possible at every step. Steer well clear.

YOUR APPLICATION IS ABSOLUTELEY BUGGY SINCE DAYS. I cannot download videos I paid with credits for. Support is extremely slow and is not able to fix anything! I would give 0 stars if it was possible.

I paid $9.99/month to Vmake Labs (STARII TECH PTY LTD) with Link / American Express. When I tried to cancel, there was no cancel control in the account (Account & Security only has Delete Account). The Stripe receipt has no Customer Portal. In Link, “Manage at STARII TECH PTY” opens the marketing homepage. That is not a billing page.
I emailed support with my UID and invoice. I reported the merchant to Link/Stripe and I blocked future charges on both Link and Amex. Link support confirmed they blocked STARII TECH PTY on my account after I showed them the fake Manage link.
This is not a product issue. It is a cancel flow designed to waste hours so the $9.99 keeps posting. If you subscribe, screenshot everything and be ready to block the merchant on your card. Do not count on a button inside Vmake.

I’m disappointed with Vmake’s video model. The output quality is not stable, with whirld details, and results that often require multiple attempts to get something usable. What makes this worse is that Vmake is more expensive than the original Seedance, despite delivering inferior results in my experience. At this price, I expected a clear improvement, but I can’t justify the cost.

I bought the Plus plan, but the feature I needed was only available with the Pro plan. About 5 minutes later, I upgraded to Pro and was told I would be refunded for my Plus purchase.

However, when I contacted support, they refused to refund the Plus plan because I had cancelled the subscription.

I believe I should receive a refund because I upgraded almost immediately and was told I would be refunded for the original Plus purchase.

This company is absolute scam asked them to cancel my subscription they promised they will cancel it since contacted them multiple times on email, live chat never since on site you are not able to cancel it even you try it multiple times it won't work!!! Absolute scam it doesn't work and if you ask for refund they will tell you this is not possible due this is digital product!!! Don't fall to this company !!!

sehr sehr gut gefällt mir sehr und ist ein Hohes return on investment als marketer der mal hier mal da das perfekte video braucht das eine gewisse emotion/painpoint darstellt, jeder der hier eine schlechte bewertung dalässt ist halt ein dummer retard der nicht weis wie sowas zu nutzen vermag. No very good removal, made me buy premium to download and it didn't even remove it all. Very disappointed and will be cancelling my subscription immediately. I feel like i have been scammed.

I accidentally subscribed to this app and only realised four days later. As soon as I noticed, I contacted the company to explain the situation and request a refund.

The app had not been used, and the company should have been able to confirm both the recent purchase date and the lack of activity on my account. Despite this, they refused to issue a refund.

I understand that businesses have refund policies, but I found this response extremely disappointing given that I contacted them promptly, the subscription was accidental, and the service had not been used at all.

Unfortunately, the app is of no use to me, and this experience has left me feeling that the company prioritises keeping a payment over providing fair and reasonable customer service. I would recommend reading the refund policy carefully before subscribing.
