Michelle and everyone at Viv Europe are wonderful. They secured a D7 visa appointment on March 25th with Houston VFS. I was quickly approved by the Washington, DC Portugal consulate by April 16th. This all happened because Michelle throughly prepared my paperwork. Please note the approval times vary depending on the consulate.

Viv Europe advised and assisted my wife and I apply for a D7 Portuguese visa and residence cards. They were extremely helpful in every step of the process. I would recommend them to anyone seeking advice and help with relocating to Portugal.

I honestly can not imagine doing this process without Matheus. It was well worth the money. If I had to move again I would recommend VivEurope. It is a long, frustrating process and having VivEurope help made it so much easier! We just got our residency cards, so yay! But it would be hard to do alone and Matheus helped a ton this last year.

The team at Viv Europe are extremely helpful and knowledgeable. The staff I interacted with were very supportive and patient. I truly enjoyed working through the process with them to get my visa. I have already recommended them to several people and I know one of them is currently using their services and happy with the level of support. Visa rules in Portugal are changing all the time. I couldn’t have successfully completed the Digital Nomad visa process without the assistance of Viv Europe. I look forward to continue working with them when I arrive in Portugal next month, while my residency card is put into place. I highly recommend them to anyone who is trying to get an any type of visa in Portugal - I believe they also provide services for Spain and Italy visas.

I have had the best experience working with Hannah Saraiva at Viv Europe! She has guided me step by step through the process of getting my Residency Visa. She is so sweet and made the process very easy. Now that I have my Visa, she is guiding me through what I need for my AIMA appointment to get my Residency. She even provided me the necessary documents that I needed to purchase my new car here in Portugal. Because of Hannah's stellar service and kind nature, I would highly recommend Viv Europe to anyone who is looking for help and guidance through the process of getting a Visa or Residency in a European country.

After further assistance from Victor at VivEurope I am once again revising my rating to 4. I'm confident the agency is aware of their challenges and are taking steps to correct them. Vincent has assured me that my experience is not the norm.

After I posted a single star review a rep from VivEurope reached out to apologize and get more info. They also offered to help with an on-going problem. As a result of those discussions I've changed my opinion. I might be willing to give them a second chance but would absolutely confirm in advance my account manager and direct e-mail and phone numbers. Not generic "info@" addresses.

My experience with VivEurope started well. But there were glitches accessing their secure portal which fortunately were resolved.

I hired them to obtain 2 NIF numbers and open a PT bank account. They failed to provide all of the documents related to the NIF and I only learned about them from a conversation with a colleague.

They set up my Bank account at Novobanco using an account manager based in Estoril with poor English language skills. Getting any help with the bank from VivEurope was impossible & my account manager insisted her work was done & I needed to work directly with the bank.

I wasted $1,000 because they promised very hands on support. I brought this up with the sales rep that I initially spoke with. She acknowledged the situation wasn't handled properly but was unable to intervene. I'm glad I did not pay them for their comprehensive Visa service.

Avoid this firm and use someone else.

We used Viv Europe for our relocation from the US to Portugal. From our very first video meeting with Victor, we knew they were the company for us!
Everyone on the team is extremely kind, patient, and knowledgeable. Matheus was our case manager and I truly don't know how we would have completed the visa process without him. There is so much conflicting information online regarding the visa process and the requirements are constantly changing, but having Matheus to turn to as a reliable source brought us so much peace. Once we had our visas submitted, the waiting period took quite a long time (D8), but Matheus stayed in touch periodically to make sure we still felt supported. At no point during this entire process did I feel alone.
Truthfully, there have been tears shed during this process, but they have been tears of joy and excitement. The process with Viv Europe and Matheus solidified that we are making the right choice by relocating to another country. I can't remember the last time I felt so much kindness and support from strangers - and now after so much collaboration, they don't feel like strangers at all!
After months of waiting to hear a final decision, we finally received word that our visas are APPROVED! The consulate didn't have a single follow-up question for us, which is a testament to Viv Europe's knowledge of this process.

I cannot recommend this company enough. Thank you thank you thank you!

Navigating another country's bureaucracy (and every county has their share!) is difficult enough, but if you don't speak the language it is significantly more challenging. Whether we needed reassurance that we were on the right track, clarification of some finer points, or complete instruction on a particular process, Viv Europe was there to help us through. We worked with Matheus, and he always responded to our emails quickly and thoroughly. If we asked five questions, he would answer six, because he was including another question we should have asked, or that might be coming up soon. The peace of mind we had from working with Viv Europe was invaluable. Highly recommended without hesitation.

VivEurope took care of all the details that enabled me to receive my D7 visa in 6 months! They are patient and responsive to the many questions that come up during the process. They understand the process and can ensure that everything is correct before you submit your application. They also assisted in finding my lease and setting up my utilities.

Since myself and my wife started out journey to explore the life possibilities in Portugal, the Viv Europe team has educated us, supported us and guided us 100%. More than expectations we had.
