No communication, no refund

I ordered an item and they delivered something completely different. I let them know immediately. I contacted them three times asking for re-delivery (and collection) or refund. No response whatsoever. Finally, I disputed the charge at my bank and they reverted the charges.

MOULDY DIRTY SOFA

Vivense sent a mouldy, stained sofa and dumped it in the middle of my living room without assembling it. Previously, it took them a week to change my delivery address as well.

The sofa did not come in a box, it came in a very dirty wrapping paper. The cushions are smashed, the sofa is stained and the corners are awful.

The customer was supposed to give me a collection/ refund date in 24 hours. It has been 4 days and I am still waiting for a collection date!!!!! DO NOT BUY FROM HERE!!!

Cheap furniture and poor service

I live in Turkey. Vivense is supposed to have English customer service however no one speaks English in my experience with the company. I do know some Turkish but navigating lost or late orders is a bit challenging.
The quality of their furniture is cheap. My bed frame fell apart in 8 months.
They take forever to ship.
The people who put together their furniture skimp on anything they can weakening the furniture that you ordered.

Excellent service - Items arrived very quickly

I have had ordered 3 times in the last couple of weeks from Visense in Turkey. All my products have arrived much earlier than expected. I would not pay again for the items to be made as this has not happened but all the items beds, rugs, sofa, bed side tables etc have all arrived within a few days and have all been good quality. Am new to Turkey and furnishing my house from scratch and have been very happy with all my deliveries to Ovacik.

Good luck getting your sofa

Bought it in April, and was promised an arrival date between 5th and 19th of July.

20th of August and we’re still waiting…

Unless that sofa is made out of the clouds from the Garden of Eden, it’s not worth waiting this long. Had I known it was going to be like this I’d never have bought it.

Absolutely horrible experience with the…

Absolutely horrible experience with the delivery company in particular. There is no communication whatsoever between Vivense and the delivery company. We’ve been chasing our order and asking them to deliver the items on a scheduled date but there is ZERO respect to that. When called to cancel ALL my order they didn't care or bother to ask why or do something about it.
I don’t recommend ordering from Vivense.

Absolute scam - no customer service

I had a terrible experience with this company. I brought a carpet back in February and the expected delivery was 6-8 weeks. Since I was travelling, I've asked the customer service to send the product when I was back. At my return, I've found out that the product had been already sent and returned. I've trying to get in contact with the customer service to get reimbursed for the past 3 weeks, but so far no reply. I had to open a Paypal controversy.

Decent customer service but would avoid!

I made my order for an item that was advertised as a 8 week wait. After waiting 8 weeks and not receiving an update, I emailed customer services to be told that delivery would actually arrive in 12 weeks instead. I requested a refund and was told that I would be refunded in the next 2 weeks. I wish I read the reviews here first as this seems to be a regular occurrence. One star for the customer service however, the representative I emailed with was super polite and issued me a refund with no resistance

great customer service

I ordered cooper bookcase which i absolutely loved. It’s exactly how it looks in the picture. You have to be little bit patient with the delivery as it took longer than it should but it was worth the wait. They replied all my emails within 48 hrs and kept me update with the delivery. They offered me discount for item being delivered late which was a fair deal. I would have given them 5 start but giving one star less for late delivery and instruction was not very clear. More clear instruction would have saved time when putting the bookcase together.

Avoid this company

Avoid this company. I purchased an item back in September and was told it would be delivered 25th Oct -2nd Nov. Have been constantly chasing. Nobody bothers getting back to you. I receive an email to say the item is with the delivery partners and they will be in contact with me in 1-5 working days. It’s now 10days and still not heard anything. God knows if I will even get my item before Xmas. At this stage I will try and contact them to cancel the order and refund me!!

Avoid Vivense at all costs

Ordered a Leo corner sofa and when it arrives they have sent two of the same halves and the leg fittings are such poor quality the legs cannot be securely fastened. This is then the calamity to follow:
1) try to speak with customer service except there is no number and it rings to the shop, three times the people in the shop lied to say someone will call back just to get you off the phone
2) via email which takes days to get a response, Vivense can’t explain how they can fix the legs, instead arrange to deliver a new one (makes no sense, they just needed to switch one or the sofa components and fix the legs)
3) they delivered the new sofa but don’t collect the original!
4) the new sofa is also faulty! Another problem with the legs
5) so I’m left with 2 faulty sofas and a mountain of packaging and no customer support to fix the problem
5) by this point all I want is to get the sofas out of my house and a refund
6) finally they manage to arrange a collection weeks later. I’d asked via email several times about how the sofas would be packaged but get no answer and the lady in the store says it shouldn’t be my problem (agree)
7) delivery men arrive and can’t collect the sofa because it’s not packaged and to collect it unpackaged would require authorisation from Vivense! Why on earth had they not authorised?!

This company is an absolute joke.

If I could give this company zero star

If I could give this company zero star, I would. Avoid at all cost. Dealing with Vivense is mentally and time draining, but still going nowhere

Much like most of their recent reviews on Google, I find this furniture company a joke.

1. Customer service: the phone number is a giffgaff phone number that never goes through. The email responses pretty much have the "not my issue" attitude. I've had the resort to go into their store and stand in front of a person to get any meaningful response (although the issue is still not solved)

2. Delivery: Vivense did not provide any tracking IDs to me, but had the audacity to tell me "you'll have to arrange delivery with the company yourself. (How am I supposed to do that without a tracking number???) The delivery company they use would just randomly schedule delivery dates without checking first with the customer. When I did get the delivery date scheduled to one that I can attend, the delivery does not show up! After calling the delivery company, they claim that this item was never scanned into their system.

I understand supply chain and logistics issues make things challenging. The lack of transparency from customer service makes this whole situation incredibly fishy.

no redeeming features

no redeeming features - worst purchase I've ever made.

The Sofa itself.
Terrible quality the density/squishiness of the cushion changes from feeling like it's filed with straw bales at the edge to feeling like it's filled with custard in the centre.
The brackets that should link the two halves of the sofa are only on one of the sofa halves, so there is no way of attaching the two.
The additional supports underneath sofa are also about an inch too short so don't touch floor.

The assembly was completed by two blokes that seemingly had never seen a screwdriver before let alone used one - the final sofa looks more like the product of a five year old with their first mechano set. Would've been funny had it not cost a grand.

Customer service:
first delivery attempt: never showed
second delivery attempt: arrived - but then assembled by dumb and dumber as described above

attempted returns...
organised after a lot of ringing - courier never showed

there's a mobile and a landline number - this just rings and rings - usually goes to answerphone - sometimes they just hang up on you before it gets to answer phone. You can literally call 50+ times and get no response.

save yourself a lot of bother and go elsewhere

UPDATE:
after literally 70+ unanswered phone calls, unanswered emails and text messages, we asked American Express to block the transaction. Coincidentally the same day we informed Vivense of this they sent an email to say a courier was on its way to remove the sofa.
