Vitavia Greenhouses Anmeldelser 

Greenhouse delivered bang on time 12th April 2022, so I set-to assembly, having prepared the base a couple of months ago. I'm an experienced installation and assembly engineer, but the instructions for assembly are next to useless! I spent much more time figuring out how to assemble, than I did actually assembling! The first real pain I came across was assembling the door; the self tappers supplied just weren't up to the job, that said, I found a work around. The bit I'm still having an issue with is closing the window, as the glass panel below it seems to be about 2cm too long. Two of my assembly colleagues double checked my assembly, and they can't figure out how to make in fit. I'll work on it! The glass panel above the louvre window at the back has no H-channel support, so is currently resting directly on the aluminium supports. I'm so glad that I ordered the reinforced glass, as I think single panels make the finished greenhouse look really smart. The greenhouse is secured to a Vitavia steel base that I will fix to the concrete base. Fingers crossed the structure is strong enough to withstand the next storm Eunace!!

Took delivery of a Venus 3800 in October 2021 but due to Coronavirus and the winter weather I have just got around to erecting the Greenhouse. I must say that I am very disappointed with the instruction manual and the small pictures of the assembled parts. The pictures are very small and difficult to interpret the orientation of parts which led to a few mistakes being made. This meant the assembly took longer than expected. I have assembled a Halls Greenhouse previously and had no problems whatsoever. A particular problem I encountered was the door assembly and the self tapping screws which were not easy to insert. On opening the Glass packs I found several panes were broken which now gives me the added problem of replacing them. The Greenhouse looks good and is secured to a Vitavia steel base that is fixed to a concrete base with screws. There are parts that look flimsy and I must say I am a bit concerned how it will stand up to the wind, only time will tell.

instruction are not to bad but combined with YouTube video we got through it.
customer service from Chris when we had a query was excellent.
nearly forgot to mention delivery and delivery driver was also great.

I bought a mid range greenhouse from greenhouses stores and although they gave me a certain lead time, the delivery was booked in directly with vitavia much sooner than I expected. The driver (sorry I didn't catch his name) that delivered the greenhouse was very helpful and nothing was too much trouble for him when taking it around to the back garden where he took his time to safely offload.
I had to call customer services as I was a little bit confused regarding the installation and a polite and knowledgeable gentleman took the time to talk me through the instructions so I could understand them.
All in all it was a great experience with good after sales support.
I would recommend to family and friends.

Desværre kommer manglende dele ikke som aftalt efter godt 14 dage og bor 10 minutter væk, men må ikke hente dem.

For dyrt når man har hyret hjælpere at delene ikle kommer som lovet og først sendes når man rykker og så alligevel ikke dukker op.

Håber drivhuset snart kan samles, så kan det jo være det ændres. Og håber ikke der mangler flere dele.

Bought a Vitavia Sirius Greenhouse via Costco August 2019 with professional installation. Have not been impressed with the build quality or the customer service.

The doors have come off twice in moderate wind (we are in London and it is very sheltered - on flat ground and surrounded by terraced houses on both sides and secured to concrete base). The second time the doors smashed and we haven't been able to get them back on. Customer service is terrible - you have to ring several times before they pick up and their emails seem to go unanswered. We were told that they wouldn't have someone be able to come and fix for "this sort of job" until September (it's now March) and were very dismissive of the problems we have had.

Not impressed and if I hadn't done a bespoke concrete base for this greenhouse I would seriously consider replacing with another model who has better after care for customers.

I purchased a large top of the range Vitavia greenhouse and although the product is good quality the UK customer service is appalling! If I could give less than 1 star I would. The instructions for installation are extremely hard to follow and the when we got stuck near the end of building it my husband called the company customer services for advice and spoke to an extremely rude man who was very condescending and just couldn’t wait to get him off the phone, he kept contradicting my husband on which instructions he was reading then finally admitted that he was looking at the wrong picture and probably had a different manual to the one we had!
After building the greenhouse we decided that we could do with some down pipes for the gutters, as the greenhouse does not come with down pipes. I seem to have also spoken to the same very VERY rude man in customer services called Chris. He rapidly told me to look at Greenhouse stores on line while I was typing in the site he put the phone down. I looked at Greenhouse stores which were out of stock so I called Vitavia back and spoke to Chris again, I said they are out of stock is there anywhere else I could get them and he said if they are out of stock then everywhere will be out of stock and they are not coming in for 3-4 months, I said why didn’t you just tell me that on the first phone call and he got very angry with me!! I said that I am a customer and not to be so rude it he kept ranting at me then slammed the phone down!
I tried to call again to speak to someone else and you guessed it when I called marketing Chris answered! He seems to be the only person working for Vitavia in the UK. I asked how to make a complaint to the company and he said send an email (which no doubt he will read and/or just delete) and slammed the phone down on me again!
Having tried 2 local garden centres, which it states on the Vitavia web site supply their products, one said they don’t have anything to do with Vitavia any more and have asked them to take their details off the web site but they won’t !
Such a shame as the greenhouse is good quality, our local garden centres all seem to stock Halls, which are very similar, maybe because as we have found out the Vitavia customer service is shockingly bad and extremely rude?

Bought a Freya four years ago. Good quality build but poor design. Plastic trim holding in glass is constantly popping out (yes - they are the right way round). Roof panels blew out in strong wind. Guttering doesn't work as water runs back under polycarbonate roof panels.

Purchased greenhouse,came 6 weeks early.
Delivery guy brilliant.
Couple of panes of glass broken .
Phoned Chris in customer service received next day.
Faultless well done .

It's a great product now it's assembled. However, that is no thanks to the instruction manual, which only caters for the standard assembly. If you specify safety glass for example, it is a different size to standard. This is not mentioned in the instructions, but instead can be found wrapped separately with parts you wouldn't know were anything to do with the glazing until you ring Vitavia. Louvre windows can only go in certain panels, again not mentioned anywhere. The Customer Service Manager clearly knows his product, but is spectacularly rude and unhelpful.

I have just built the Vitavia Venus Greenhouse and it is a well made and excellent value product.
BUT - here's the catch- the assembly instructions were appallingly bad and it took far too long to build as a result. I do not understand why a company would produce a good product and not look at this essential detail.
So good marks for product but very low marks for instructions.

I have just written a far from happy review for Greenhouse stores. Having talked to them it seems that it should have been directed at the manufacturer, Vitavia, who supply direct to the customer. Long story, but they do not admit mistakes. A pane of glass short originally, then 4 panes of ordinary glass instead of toughened glass. They said we should have checked, but how would we know that a number in the corner was the indication that it was toughened? (We found a number on the larger pieces, that's how we know). Unfortunately we found out about the two in the door being ordinary glass when the door dropped to the floor! It would only open the wrong way because the wind had warped the frame a little. The glass broke, as ordinary glass. 2 replacement pieces we bought locally had the kite safety mark on them , and only cost £20. All this bad feeling for that.

Bad beyond belief. I bought a Hera 9000, they are an absolute nightmare to erect, made of poor quality materials, with so many design flaws I would need to write several pages to cover them all. Company are in denial about all the problems and no help whatsoever. Also, they only post 5* reviews on their website, which is thoroughly misleading.
Avoid at all cost.

Købte et drivhus til næsten 12000kr hvor at de ikke havde pakket de rigtige døre samt dør skinner.. ringer til firmaet, hvor jeg fik at vide at de havde andre kunder, så der var ikke tid til mig, og så blev der lagt på !
Har sågar også bestilt et bord med 2 hylder, hvor det heller ikke er lykkes dem at pakke korrekt...
Kostede mig og min kone 2 fridage, hvor vi ikke kunne blive færdig med vores drivhus.
Aldrig har jeg fået så dårlig service, nu var det købt og betalt, så har de ikke tid.

Just bought and had installed a Vitavia Venus 5000 and very impressed by their whole operation and the quality of the greenhouse. They were very quick at delivering and installation carried out within a couple of weeks by a very professional and pleasant team.
All in all cannot fault them and I am extremely pleased with my new ‘home’ as my wife calls it!
