The charger wasn’t working right and…
The charger wasn’t working right and had to make sure every time if it was charging.
I had to extend my stay and rental. When I called the person I talked to was really nice and made it easy.

March 2020 Japan trip
I was going to southern Kyushu for 3 weeks and needed wifi connection. Through the JTB website, I ordered a pocket wifi and had it delivered to my home before leaving on my trip. The ordering process and delivery process was flawless. Once I was in Japan, I activated the unit and used it continuously during my trip...even to the southern tip of Kyushu. There were no disconnections. The issue I had was during the times I tried to send a picture...very, very slow or no transmission at all. But, for texting and web browsing, etc. it was great. I even used it with Google Maps on a driving trip to Cape Sata. Perfect! Thank you.

Great experience
Having a mobile WiFi hot spot device made it easy to get around Japan. There are multiple options to get your hot spot after paying online--either in person or by mail. All were reasonable prices. I will use this service in any future travels.

My husband I rent the router when we went to Taiwan for one week.
The battery of each was so long, therefore we could use the phone whole day.
That is most important thing when using in other country.

Never had any connectivity issue while using for 10 days throughout travels in Japan. Battery life is good, but to prevent uninterrupted service, bring along a portable battery charger. Once I got home, simply returned with the return box. Super easy and convenient.
