Great game to experience the economic works. I learn a lot from this game and always enjoy it.

very informative, knowledgeable and easy to understand business simulator, despite some useful features locked to GP, making it slightly unfair for most users. my suggestion is that certain features that could help enhance businesses could be free for most players. still a good recommendation if you wanna practice your industrial skills.

Virtonomics is a great business simulation game about company management and economics. I had been looking for a game of this genre for a long time, and I must say I am very satisfied. You can open or buy stores in cities across many nations. Trade many types of goods. Open new factories. Research new technologies. Increase your skills as president. I wanted to start slowly with just a few stores... but then the game hooked me, and in no time, I already have 19 shops, 2 mines, and 6 factories, with others under construction! Как бы игра не была продумана, сколько бы строчек кода не было написано, никогда она не сможет сравнится с множественностью событий и путей в нашей жизни. И поэтому, чем ближе игра приближена к реальности, чем меньше в ней условностей, тем более интересно в неё играть.

Виртономика пытается воссоздать в своем игровом пространстве модель мировой экономической системы. Конечно в ней есть ряд условностей, которые необходимы, но в остальном это самый реалистичный симулятор, что я встречал на просторах интернета.
Начнем с того, что в игре реализована динамичная система производственных и экономических цепочек, рынок услуг, ритейл, исследования и внедрения технологий. Если вы выберете какую-нибудь нишу и откроете магазин, то вашим поставщиком будет не безликий ИИ, а такой же игрок как и вы, который вложил деньги в производство этого товара, а ресурсы он покупал у другого игрока. Причем цепочка производства может растягиваться на десятки наименований и десяток игроков, что влияет на объем и себестоимость.
Количество таблиц с анализом рынков товаров и услуг огромное, вы можете часами сидеть и изучать, где спрос на товар будет больше, а где налоги меньше. К слову в игре представлены все страны и регионы мира, можно открывать свои предприятия и магазины хоть в каждой. Страны имеют свою систему налогообложения, стоимости услуг ЖКХ и таможенных пошлин с логистикой, что влияет, естественно на себестоимость и ваш доход.
Всё как в жизни, не правда ли?
В общем и целом игра затягивает, если вы хотели себя попробовать в бизнесе, но не знали с чего начать, возможно стоит начать с Виртономики.

снизил на 2 балла, за то что перед постройкой завода или фабрики невозможно провести исследование рынка требуемых материалов! вроде хочешь построить завод, а потом понимаешь, что расходники непомерно дороги и сносишь его, а деньги уже потрачены!

This game is missing an introduction walkthrough. I was assigned to play this game for school and could not find where to click for many of the tasks. I had to use AI to direct me where to go to sell my business, what the Trade Hall is, etc. I believe this would have been helpful and made the game more enjoyable.

I've been playing this game for 15+ years, with an 8-year break. The concept is excellent! It's a very detailed business simulator. It's great for sharpening your mind.

However, after the introduction of paid features, the scope of activity has significantly narrowed. If you want to start now, you will inevitably face the fact that most of the profitable niches are already taken. So, get ready for Pay2Play.

Also, get ready for constant user interface bugs. This is true even for the PAID features. E.g. a funny one: you open an laundry/fitness/some other services facility and UI tells you that you have best of the best restaurant. So, get ready to pay for proud name of Virtonomics perpetual Beta tester. It's true for all time long I've been in the game.

As for the tech support, they will reply something like "you are using our fascinating UI in a bad way". This treatment gets me crazy sometimes: support will just ignore obvious bugs and close tickets without response. Awful!

Many answers to questions that arise during the game cannot be found or calculated beforehand anywhere. For example, you cannot pre-calculate the cost of resource extraction, production, electricity, and so on, BEFORE you've built the corresponding facilities. Many issues are not described neither in Wikinomics nor in UI. This is true even for features you pay. Why? "Because we don't care, just pay and keep your mouth shut".

There are some old calculators for Virtonomics on GitHub where you can calculate some products, but they are outdated and don't cover a wide range of products.

You end up having to do everything via tries and losses, which absolutely ruins the gaming experience, especially for beginners.

Stealing money from an account is killing feature of the Virtonomics.
If you paid for your subscription and received the PRO status, but then it was canceled, then ALL the prepaid time will be STOLEN from you and the money will not be refunded.

After 15+ years in the game, I'm giving it one star, because I'm a bit tired of the permanent suffering! :)

PS. If you read 5 stars review somewhere, please, keep in mind, that Virtonomics pays authors a bit Game Points for each.

Good example of a business simulator that applies actual economics. You have to actually manage the companies in your portfolio. Will definitely keep me busy for quite a while

ИМХО, самая реалистичная игра про экономику. Заставляет задуматься, заняться анализом и построить стратегию. Нравится возможность построить свою империю

Сложный симулятор, тем и хорош... заставляет думать, анализировать, ошибаться, учиться и снова ошибаться, после снова учиться и набираться опыта и добиваться поставленных целей!
