Moreover, we are passionate about providing all this in a sustainable manner that alleviates our impact on the environment and keeps our carbon footprint to a minimum, so that while you enjoy all the modern features you would expect from a high-end accommodation, you can do so without feeling guilty that your vacation needs are coming at the expense of our planet's - and particularly our beautiful island's - precious and limited resources. To this end, we have invested heavily in green energy, with each villa drawing heavily on its own solar power supply, provided reliably and in abundance by the year-round sunshine we enjoy in the South of Gran Canaria, and our pool filtration systems having integrated ZPM technology which reduces the reliance on chemical products and saves water. In addition to this, we are pledged to use fair-trade products, local produce, and to support local businesses wherever possible. While we certainly believe in thinking globally and thinking big, we act locally to always ensure that we are doing our bit, both for the sustainability of the environment and for the good of the local community in which we operate. While we are principally a property-rental company, we believe in offering the best of both worlds; thus, with our villas, you will enjoy the privacy and independence that you would expect from a private rental combined with the type of service you might anticipate from a top hotel: towels are changed every 4 days and the bathrooms are cleaned to restore that sparkle you found on arrival; linen is changed weekly. The pool is professionally cleaned twice a week - always early in the morning to assure you that disturbance is kept to a minimum - in order to guarantee the purity of the water. The heating is controlled all year round so you know you can always enjoy a pleasant swim, all throughout the day (the pool temperature varies between 24 and 27 degrees, depending on the night temperature and the wind direction).
