Village Blinds and Shutters is a Northern Ireland specialist in made-to-measure blinds, plantation shutters, and motorised blinds, supplying and fitting homes across Northern Ireland from our base in Ballymena, County Antrim.
We provide a complete service from free home consultation and measuring through to professional installation, helping homeowners choose window coverings that look right, work properly, and are fitted with care.
Established in 1991, we have built our reputation on expert advice, reliable service, quality workmanship, and a clean, professional finish from first visit to final installation.
Our range includes plantation shutters, roller blinds, Venetian blinds, Roman blinds, vertical blinds, Perfect Fit blinds, pleated and cellular blinds, and smart motorised blinds, with practical solutions for everything from bay windows and bifold doors to full-house installations.

At Village Blinds and Shutters, every made-to-measure blind and plantation shutter is crafted to a high standard and fitted with care. That’s why we include a 5-Year Guarantee on all internal blinds and shutters, giving you confidence in both the product and the finish.
Our guarantee includes a 2-Year Warranty covering repairs or replacement of faulty products, followed by a 3-Year Extended Care Plan for continued peace of mind.
During this time, we will repair or replace faulty products, subject to a nominal call-out fee.
It’s all part of making sure your blinds and shutters not only look right on day one, but continue to perform as they should.

I got my blinds fitted and was very pleased with them but I noticed that some weren’t hanging just right. I spoke to a girl and someone came out very quickly. It was actually our windowsill which wasn’t level but blinds were sorted out right away. Great service.

Great workmanship
Great service with regards to measuring for the blinds required. I was very disappointed, that 3 weeks after measuring, when the blinds were due to be installed to get a call to say the fabric was unavailable. This was quickly resolved and the blinds were fitted a week later. The fitter was extremely professional, and tidied everything up when he had finished, including hoovering.

This company gave us a a very competitive quote last January 2025.
A very efficient lady arrived and measured windows. And 2 weeks after acceptance technicians arrived installed.
Power blinds were just as we expected excellent.
I damaged one of the charging points and I was guided on how to rectify. A follow up call to see if all was good.
An after sale service like the product is first class.

There were no problems with ordering the blinds. The staff were very courteous and friendly. I was kept in touch about everything regarding the order. I am very pleased with the blinds themselves and their fitting. I would definitely recommend Villsge Blinds.

Disappointing
When I ordered my blinds, both were made up in the same colour even though I had ordered two different colours. What I found most disappointing was being told that I had ordered them that way, which was not correct. Mistakes can happen, but it felt like the error was being covered up instead of acknowledged. To improve, I would suggest double-checking orders before production, and if a mistake does occur, being upfront and honest with the customer while offering a clear resolution. Good communication and accountability would have turned a frustrating situation into a much more positive experience.
My experience with the fitters however was extremely positive and the above complaint relates specifically to the person dealing with the consultation rather than the fitting team.
The blinds now installed look great.
