We feel so blessed that we discovered Vicuna Air. As far as we know, it's the only airline that provides the option for your dog to fly solo (Biscuit Class) therefore saving you almost half(!) the cost it would take to fly yourself and your dog together on a charter plane. It even comes out to be more affordable than most options for flying your dog in cargo(!) with a commercial airline. Choosing Vicuna Air was a no-brainer for us. I almost don't even want to tell other people about this airline because I want it all to myself!

We loved how available and hands-on the staff was -- they seemed to always be online on WhatsApp, and are available for video calls whenever needed. They made the notorious paperwork process extremely easy and as stress-free as possible. They fielded dozens of questions from both me and my vet separately and were able to get quick pre-clearance approval for each document at each step of the way, making me feel very at-ease. Seth and Jamie were extremely responsive, knowledgeable, and assuring at every step of the way.

My dog had a great time on the flight from NYC to London. The flight was scheduled for takeoff in the middle of a Nor'easter storm and they still managed to takeoff and land right on schedule. During the flight they also let my dog take up more space than a human should! I'm hoping to book Vicuna Air again on my dog's future return to NYC, it's seriously the best option by a mile.

I really appreciated the genuine kindness and consideration from all staff, but of course, mostly from Jaime. What a wonderful experience though it was quite stressful moving my dog from Mexico/Canada to the UK (due to general obstacles, not to Vicuna). Well worth every penny, thank you so much!

The best pet airline out there. Let’s start with the fact that they get back to you within 30 min when you message them with any questions this is before I had even booked with them and after I had booked they continued to check in to make sure my dog had all her required vaccinations on time and paperwork done. I contacted other well know airlines and they did not ever reply to emails or calls. The flight itself was fantastic it was relaxed atmosphere and they went above and beyond to settle all the pets. The food was amazing and freshly prepared on the flight! We had a great time and I don’t think I have ever said that about a flight ever before!

Flew with them recently great service full concierge handling of Dogs nothing was too difficult. Highly recommended.

I’m not actually sure where to start with this, from the very first contact we made with Vicuna when Jamie the owner called to ask how he could help, to him personally handing over Brody to us out in the USA, I can say it has been a privilege to have found them. Moving your family, their belongings, memories and your precious dog from one side of the world to the other was always going to have its challenges, working with Jamie and his team has been one of the experiences that has made this whole process worthwhile. Much like most prospective clients, we spent hours searching the internet for reviews, photos and companies seeking reassurance of how they would safely transport Brody out to the USA, we never felt safe him travelling in the hold of a commercial airline and that is where Vicuna come into their own. We tried to engage with all of the competitors in this industry, and many are very good at what they do, however when your leaving your dog in the hands of someone, you don’t want to just fill out forms and send them to an invisible person at the opposite end of an email address. This is were Vicuna are different, the team here at Vicuna are real people, they respond immediately to any question and usually this will be via Jamie the owner. They want to understand everything so that the service they provide is the very best, and that is what they do. We were actually already here in the USA when Brody left the Uk, we live in the North East of England and so our parents drove Brody down to Stansted to hand him to the team. Even this experience was made to be special, our parents were invited into the Harrods private terminal, they met the other passengers and the animals were all able to meet each other ready for their transatlantic flight. Once on the flight, I was kept regularly updated with what’s app messages and photos from the team, and we felt like we were part of the journey, seeing Brody settled and relaxed was just the most reassuring highlight and we could relax safe in the knowledge he was being taken care of. Once he arrived Seth and Jamie brought him from the plane to lots of excitement and told us how he had been, and spent important time talking about their journey. This whole experience was very human and I believe is what makes them stand out in this industry. Even now over 4 weeks later I still share messages with Jamie. A superb business, lovely genuine people and an experience that will always stand out in our relocation journey and allowing our dog to join us. To Jamie, Seth and everyone at Vicuna a huge thank you and we look forward to one day using you again.

Had a wonderful flight with Vicuna and my two Bernedoodles. The plane was roomy & luxurious. The Vicuna staff were exceptional and very accommodating to both humans and animals alike. The logistics were perfect. I’m looking forward to flying with Vicuna again. Highly recommend this fantastic service!

We took a Vicuna Air flight from Paris (ground transport to London) to NY early July. We needed to return to the States for our dog's cancer treatment, and Vicuna was able to help us last minute, including getting all of the paperwork and other logistics sorted out with less than a week to go. We had a car pick us up on both ends of the flight, which was super nice and made the journey less stressful. We appreciated having an ongoing chat with a member of the Vicuna team from even before we booked until after arrival in case anything went wrong, too.

Overall, highly recommend Vicuna as an option for transatlantic dog travel!

We recently relocated from Boston to London for work and needed a way to bring our Sheltie with us. After researching some options, we settled on Vicuna and are very happy with our choice! They were incredibly communicative and supportive throughout the process of preparing us to travel to the UK with a dog.

The flight itself was a delightful experience! The entire experience was very personalized, and it's clear that Jamie and others at Vicuna go above and beyond to make everyone's experience seamless and stress-free. From navigating the strict pet travel paperwork to ensuring we were all comfortable on board, they handled every detail with so much care. Traveling internationally with a pet can be incredibly daunting, but Vicuna made sure it was a smooth, positive journey. We cannot recommend them highly enough for anyone looking to fly with their furry family members!

My Rabbit was the first bunny to travel with Vicuna, and they assured me every step of the way. I not once feel worried. I got updates, I got pictures. I picked up a bunny that was happy and relaxed. This is an environment of people who love animals, and it shows.
If we ever have to relocate again, I would 100% choose Vicuna Air.

We found Vicuna when we were looking for travel options from New York to London. We didn’t want our dog to fly in cargo, and we didn’t want to go through the hassle of flying via France. This was an excellent solution for what we wanted, and I’m very glad we found it.

From the first phone call, before I had even booked, Vicuna were calming, knowledgeable, and incredibly friendly. It was my first time travelling with a dog across continents, and Vicuna took my anxiety in their stride, answering every question with clear knowledge and understanding.

We ended up booking her in biscuit class and felt really happy and safe knowing that she had a concierge taking care of her during the flight.

One of the most helpful aspects of this service is that they help organise all the paperwork, so there is very little stress on the day of travel. I received multiple reminder emails (including liaising with my vet to help), and they were available by text and phone whenever I needed assistance. The peace of mind they gave me was invaluable.

Worth every single penny, in my opinion. They have fantastic expertise, kind and knowledgeable staff, and they made us feel valued and calm every step of the way.

Drop-off and pick-up were both very easy, and they have a really lovely team. I couldn’t recommend them more highly.

I had the most wonderful and seamless experience flying with my dog, Harper, on Vicuna Air! We flew from Los Angeles to New York, and it was such an amazing experience. We used the concierge pick-up and drop-off service which was very punctual, comfortable, and convenient. The in-flight experience was absolutely wonderful! We were served various food and drink options, and everyone was extremely kind, personable and welcoming, especially the founders, Jamie and Jane. We made it home safely, and Harper and I truly enjoyed our luxury travel experience!

Outstanding experience all around flying Vicuna Air!

Attention to detail and responsiveness every step of the way, the founder Jamie and his team were so helpful from guiding the prep with our vet, navigating the daunting pet records submittal process to the USDA, and all the requirements for lead up to travel.

Chauffer service for you and your pet the day of travel to the airport, where Jamie and his US team were there to greet all of us, making everyone feel comfortable before takeoff. Flying was easily the smoothest I've taken ever, with a relaxed yet professional atmosphere, they go to great lengths to make sure you and your pet are secure, feel at ease, and truly enjoy the experience.

My situation was a bit unique in that the trip was scheduled to fly through the UK, then ground transportation setup by Vicuna would take us to Paris, but Amsterdam was my final intended destination. Jamie had a great idea! "Why don't we instead put you on the ferry leaving out of Harwich (UK) the next morning for the Hook of Holland". The solution-minded thinking and enthusiasm for his business really shows.

What an experience for both my pup and me.

If you are making a big move like my family did, or just considering luxury travel with your pet for a getaway, Vicuna will take excellent care of you and your fur baby.

How do you move countries with a pet? You can try and book a berth on ship (2 years waiting list) or put them in a crate and drop them off with your luggage. I went with option number 3. Book a flight, and have them sitting on the floor next to you.

From the responsive staff, to the pre-flight call with Jamie the founder, the whole process was a breeze start to finish. They make sure everything is prepared, they double check the animal paperwork, advise you on pre flight routines, and even pick you up and drop you off. There's nothing left to chance, and having flown many times with a plane full of people, I can confidently say flying with a plane full of dogs is a much better place to be.

If this is the one member of the family that get's all the treats, this is the only way to travel.
