Viaggiare Rent - Roma Anmeldelser 

Ero un po' preoccupato viste alcune recensioni soprattutto riguardanti la gentilezza e disponibilità del personale ma devo dire che sia il pick-up che il drop-off sono stati perfetti con entrambi gli addetti molto professionali e simpatici.

Il "problema" nel mio caso è stata l'automobile, una Mahindra difficilissima da guidare e che dovrebbe passare non poco tempo in una officina per controllare pedali, sterzo e qualsiasi rumore possibile provenga dall'auto. Come dichiarato anche dell'addetto al drop-off è una macchina "strana da guidare". Leggendo altre recensioni non sono l'unico ad aver avuto una macchina non in condizioni ottimali.

I soldi sulla carta sono stati sbloccati dopo ben 28 giorni e c'è un costo (semi)nascosto di 25 euro di pulizie al termine del noleggio che non mi era stato detto quando ho ritirato l'auto, ma che probabilmente era inserito nelle T&Cs.

In generale esperienza positiva ma possono migliorare.

The customer service desk at Rome airport boasts an exceptional staff. On September 10th, around 11 pm, we found ourselves in a predicament. Our rental car company had closed, leaving us unable to retrieve our second car. The helpful staff member at the desk immediately offered us a larger car to accommodate all six of us. He also provided an option to return the car the next morning at the same price and then retrieve our original booked car, eliminating the need to rent two cars. Amazingggg customer service

No te fíes de lo que te dicen en el mostrador. Es todo un engaño. Te cobran gastos extra y encima no hay forma de reclamarlo.

My parents had a pre-paid reservation on 17th of august. Due to minor transit delays, they arrived 15 minutes past their scheduled pickup time.
​When they reached the counter, the employee was extremely rude, dismissive, and completely unhelpful. Instead of offering a solution or showing standard customer courtesy, the staff member hostilely refused to release the vehicle—claiming the booking was marked as a "no-show"—and flatly refused to issue a refund.
​Keeping full payment while treating paying customers with disrespect over a 15-minute window is completely unacceptable.
​Avoid this location. The staff is hostile, and the company exploits minor delays to pocket your money without providing a vehicle.

Viaggiare rent is very unreliable, I rented a car, they took the money and had no car for me. They left me scrambling for a solution with my kids, and family, waiting in the heat! They showed no sympathy and would not refund my money. Complete scammers. Stay away

Ritardo di un quarto d’ora il 17 agosto con Fiumicino in affanno, macchina prepagata, hanno rifiutato il noleggio, trattandosi di cittadini Israeliani, credo per razzismo, questa storia non finirà qui.
Personale maleducatissimo che non ha voluto qualificarsi.

A warning to others. If you have any concern that your flight might be delayed, do NOT book with this company. Our flight from Zurich to Rome was delayed by 1hr 30mins. If you do not arrive within 1 hour of your booking they cancel your reservation. That is it. Other firms have this condition in their T&Cs but where it has happened to us before other car rental firms have used their discretion. Not Viaggiare. With a 1 year old and 4 year old they were uncompromising and put us in a very difficult position.

Es war total unkompliziert keine Wartezeit, sehr sympathische Mitarbeiter. Hab das erste Mal ein Auto gemietet nächstes mal wieder dort.

Vårat plan var försenat och vi fick inte ut våran bil utan en kostnad på 76 euro och vi sa till killen bakom disken att det inte är ok och då tvärvände han och sa inte får ut någon bil trots att vi betalat nästan 4000 kr. Varning för denna uthyrare som var otroligt otrevlig och arrogant!

Vorremmo ringraziare di cuore tutto il team di Viaggiare Rent, in particolare Georgina e Matteo (ci scusiamo se abbiamo scritto il nome in modo non corretto).

Dopo essere rimasti bloccati a causa di una situazione molto spiacevole con un’altra compagnia di autonoleggio, loro ci hanno accolto con grande gentilezza, professionalità e umanità. Hanno ascoltato il nostro problema, si sono impegnati a trovare una soluzione e sono riusciti a procurarci un’auto, salvando così il nostro viaggio e i nostri programmi.

Siamo davvero molto grati per il loro aiuto. Sono stati estremamente gentili, disponibili, professionali e comprensivi. Un servizio clienti eccellente che non dimenticheremo.

Consigliamo vivamente Viaggiare Rent a chiunque cerchi un’azienda affidabile e uno staff che si prende davvero cura dei propri clienti.

​⚠️ אל תשכרו מ-VIAGGIARE! הונאה מוחלטת ועבירת בטיחות חמורה!
​החופשה המשפחתית שלי נהרסה לחלוטין בגלל החברה הזו. הם סיפקו רכב שהפר את חוקי התעבורה והבטיחות באיטליה: לא היה בו צמיג רזרבי ולא ערכת תיקון/כלים (בלי ג'ק, בלי מפתח ברגים). כשהיה לנו פנצ'ר רגיל בכביש, תיקון פשוט של 15 דקות הפך לסיוט של יומיים כי היינו תקועים כחוק בגלל הציוד החסר שלהם.
​כדי להחמיר את המצב, הם השאירו אותנו תקועים בלי רכב במשך 48 שעות, מה שגרם לנו לבזבז מאות יורו על מוניות עם המשפחה שלי. כשהגענו סוף סוף לדלפק בשדה התעופה תחת לחץ כבד כדי לקבל רכב חלופי, הם סחטו מאיתנו 650 יורו נוספים על גרירה (שהייתה ב-100% באשמתם) תחת תירוץ שקרי שהמעבר במעבורת המקומית ביטל את הביטוח – למרות שהסוכן קיבל הודעה שבועות מראש! הם גם גבו מאיתנו באופן לא חוקי עוד 500 יורו על המעבורת.
​בסך הכל, הם עקצו אותנו בלמעלה מ-1,500 יורו בקנסות מזויפים ובהוצאות נוספות, והשאירו אותנו כמעט בלי כסף בחופשה שלנו.
​זו לא חברת השכרת רכב, זו סחיטה באיומים חוקית המיועדת לתיירים. תתרחקו מ-Viaggiare ו-Economy Car Rentals בכל מחיר אלא אם כן אתם רוצים שהחופשה שלכם תהרס!

The worst holiday experience I have had in my 50 years, avoid these guys before they ruin your whole trip.
Went to Rome airport (FCO) to pick up my Fiat 500 that I had already paid for through Discover to go to my friends wedding. No Fiats there so ended up with a Mahindra, shockingly bad car but that's fine. Went to pay the deposit with my credit card but for some reason it wouldn't work in their machine, asked them to tap it but they said they can't do that (I had been using the card fine in Rome for the last few days), the only other way was another credit card (How many people carry 2 credit cards?) or a debit card which I had BUT this meant I had to use their insurance which was an EXTRA 500 EUROS!!!!!!
I told them where to go and walked away to calm down and assess my options. When I spoke to other car rental places there they wanted 1400 euros for a car without a booking. So I went back to Viaggiare, apologised and said ok I'll have to take the disgusting 500 euros option. They said oh we cancelled your booking now so actually it will now be 800 EUROS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Because I was going to a friends wedding in Umbria that started in 3 hours I had to do it.
Scumbags. Do not go near this company or they will cost you the price of a holiday before it even starts. Everything you've heard about the car rental industry is true, super corrupt gangsters in horrible little uniforms.
Funnily enough the drop off in Brindisa was lovely and totally pain free.

I rent a car at Roma Fiumicino on April 2026. They had just changed the pick up location without any communication. There were on the voucher and at the airport the sign of viaggiare rent to a tower but there was noone there. They moved to another tower without notice. When arrived a the tower written on the voucher, at the right time I made several calls to viaggiare rent but noone answered. I had to wait 1 hour and ask to other car rentals to reach the new place. At the viaggiare rent desk, the employees said that they were simply to enganged with other client to bother to respond at my several calls. The staff was surely not well trained and also not kind at all. I don't recommend this agency and for sure i will not book again with them.

Extremely disappointing experience with Viaggiare. I had a confirmed reservation through Rentalcars.com and arrived only about one hour after the scheduled pickup time. Despite the minimal delay, the staff refused to provide the vehicle and offered no reasonable solution or flexibility.

What made the situation worse was the lack of customer service. Instead of trying to help, rebook, or offer an alternative vehicle, I was simply told that the reservation was no longer valid. A one-hour delay should not automatically result in a customer being left stranded, especially when the rental office is still open.

The policies may be written somewhere in the terms and conditions, but the way they were applied felt completely disproportionate and customer-unfriendly. If you are considering renting from Viaggiare, be aware that even a relatively small delay can result in losing your reservation with little or no assistance from staff.

Based on my experience, I would not rent from this company again and would strongly recommend looking at other rental providers with more reasonable customer service and flexibility.

Personale fantastico e competente la ragazza alla consegna (napoletana) super gentile a con uno splendido sorriso al desk un signore competente gentile ma soprattutto capace e risolutivo di con tanta pazienza…. Non trovavo il pin della carta!!!!! Una esperienza molto buona i prezzi sul loro sito non economici ma lo staff e eccezionale
