Review of VFactor Health: Succeeding with GLP1 journey
VFactor Health has made a huge difference to me so I wanted to leave this 5 star review encouraging women struggling with weight loss to check it out. I'm on Week 14 With VFactor (I just renewed for a second 12 week session). I am steadily losing and seeing success. I feel great and have a plan that is working.
I signed up because I wanted SUBSTANTIVE information that I could learn and keep. I wanted personal coaching from experts. This is not a scheme or another internet program you download. This is interactive, informative coaching helping each person and connecting us through a supportive community. It works!
The company is led by Veronica Yu, a Nurse Practitioner with years of experience working as a medical professional helping postmenopausal women. I carefully checked out her credentials and they are solid--degrees from well reputed universities (University of Florida and Shenandoah University).
My journey over the past couple years has been tough. My weight went up during my daughter's 2 years fighting for her life through leukemia treatments. From 160+ hospital days, a multitude of crises and stress, I suddenly realized I hadn't been focused on my own health.
I started a GLP1 and began losing. But I was nervous as I was unsure what to eat, how much to exercise and what if any supplements were needed to lose in a healthy way. I didn't feel good. I was losing energy and stamina. Likely I wasn't eating enough. I was consuming too many protein products and not enough whole foods.
If you are like me and were given a GLP1 with virtually no instructions you no doubt have a million questions and concerns. I have three science degrees so believe me when I say I have a LOT of questions. VFactor Health is answering them all for me.
I have learned a LOT! The program includes personal coaching (all the coaches are great). My coach is a functional nutritionist. The coaches work hand in hand with Veronica and you have access to both. They track your progress and partner with you to keep things moving in the right direction. There is a curriculum that has both podcasts and downloadable pdf's with key takeaways on specific topics such as a 1 week plan to break plateaus.
Regular gatherings of the VFactor clients for group online sessions are also encouraging. I can't attend them all but they are always recorded and available so it works with my busy life.
They send you a fit scale to track your progress, have a portal for online journaling of habits, foods etc. There are so many tools!
What is perhaps the most refreshing thing about this program is that their goal is to wean you OFF...not to subscribe you to something forever. They also don't push you to increase your GLP1 dose, if anything their goal is to help you move forward on lower doses.
So if you are struggling with your GLP1 journey, stuck on a plateau or just wondering if you can do it in a healthier way, check out VFactor!
