Very satisfied with the service I received
From the moment I walked in the showroom and spoke to Danial I’Anson I was made very welcome he was was very professional and knowledgeable and a lovely lad
He advised and sorted out my budget for a car which I purchased,The manager came over and introduced himself and spoke very highly of Danial ,and nothing was a problem I would definitely recommend Vertu Motors at Peterlee to my family and friends.

Unacceptable service, poor hygiene, and broken management promises
I bought a vehicle from Vertu and the after-sales experience has been deeply disappointing and frustrating from start to finish.
A few days after driving the car home, I was disgusted to discover used gum left inside the vehicle, showing a total lack of basic hygiene and prep standards before handover. On top of this, I was only given one key and spent over a month chasing the missing second key with no progress from local staff.
The General Manager only stepped in after I was forced to escalate a formal complaint to Head Office. Even then, her handling was appalling: I received a rude text message typed entirely in ALL CAPS, followed by an email promising a written update and resolution by Tuesday. She completely missed her own deadline. Two days later, I was simply texted a third-party technician’s phone number to make an appointment and arrange the key myself—passing management’s job onto the customer.
To top it off, the dealership actually asked me to purchase a service plan with them despite this level of unprofessionalism and poor hygiene. I have lost all confidence in their service and would strongly advise others to look elsewhere.
