A GUARANTEE IS WORTHLESS
The boiler was installed in 2023 and regularly serviced. It has broken down 3 times in 3 years, and now Veissmann says my 7-year guarantee is invalid because it hasn't been serviced! Wait times for an engineer are 7+, days. They are understaffed and look for an excuse to get out of their guarantee/or make you pay for their engineer. Out of necessity, I'm paying my own plumber for repairs and am considering changing the boiler. This has been a nightmare, and I would NOT recommend this company under any circumstances.
Veissmann boiler
We have had our Veissmann boiler for just under 3 years and the pump has already broken and a valve. The plumber who fitted our boiler gave us the wrong model number so unknown to us the boiler is not under warranty. Our local Veissmann rep has been very unhelpful and will not honour any warranty, despite it not being our error. Poor customer service and very disappointed to have issues so soon with a boiler that is meant to be amazing. Would not reccommend.
Terrible, terrible aftercare
For anybody considering getting a Viessmann boiler - don't! Our Viessmann boiler has broken down we have no heating or hot water and the company in charge of service and repair in Ireland has said it will take 2 months to get an engineer out to look at it - 2 months! I have contacted numerous contractors and nobody will touch these boilers - getting parts is a nightmare so this it not surprising. If you have a Viessmann boiler be prepared to rip it out and get a different brand when something goes wrong with it.
Service Circus..
Poor customer service its what you would call a 'Service Circus'.
For over a week I've rang 5 times to get an engineer booked to carry out a service on my Veissmann boiler. Here's what happened:
1. Booked online to get an engineer booked in: Outcome: received an email to confirm this, but there was no time/date, timeframe to answer my booking query as you would expect.
2. Call 1: 4 days later from receiving the booking email, got through a customer service agent and they said they cannot book an engineer as their system is down, asked how long this will take to fix, they said its been down for 1 week they have no idea they will call me when its up and running.
3. Call 2: Ring them up again and apparently their system is now fixed and they have now passed by details to their 'bookings team' who will call me to book an engineer appointment. Asked what the timeframe is around this, they said they don't have one!!!!
4. Call 3: Ring again, and they said someone tried to call me on the weekend to book but got no response from me, I replied there were no calls received/missed calls. So they AGAIN passed my details to the booking team and AGAIN no timeframe given as to when they will call me.
5. Call 4: Ring again, had to give all my personal details and serial number again and they said they'll need to pass this over to a colleague and them to pass it back to them and they'll endeavour to give a call back the same day. No call received.
6. Call 5: Same as call 4 info given again I asked to speak to the team leader/manager, was told no one was there for me to speak to. But this time finally got an engineer booked in on the same call and paid over the phone!
Note: everytime I call, strangely they ask me for my boilers serial number. I mean come on get with the times, I gave it the first time I called do they not have a system that captures this information together with my Account/Contact record??
Advice: seriously Viessmann needs their service system addressing to have a more up to date technology in place, give me a call and I can put you in touch with some very helpful people who can help build you an up-to-date CRM system which will enable your organisation to handle your customer services in a more streamlined and efficient manner because sadly at the moment its extremely poor.
What a shame a world class Viessmann product with the poorest customer service mainly due to the lack of modernised technology processes in place.

Viessmann boilers are a waste of money
Viessmann boilers are a waste of money .n over a year since installation the boiler has broken down three times and now the fourth. A week ago an engineer was there to fix it. Today the tenants are calling that the boiler is broken and there is no hot water or heating. The boiler is a total rubbish as are the engineers who come to repair it. People if you have to install a new boiler never Weissman. The 10-12 warranty is just an advertising trick. Boilers are rubbish, service is rubbish. It's a waste of nerves and time wasted on discussions with the customer service.
Boiler Warranty not valid
Do not buy a Viessmann gas boiler! Their warranties are not worth the paper they are written on. I purchased a Viessmann boiler just 18 months ago with a 12-year warranty, thinking I had peace of mind from breakdowns for the next 12 years. Unfortunately, this is not the case. In December last year I had a problem with the hot water blowing hot and cold and called a Viessmann Engineer out. Whilst he repaired the boiler, he told me in no uncertain terms that Viessmann would charge me for any future call outs for problems of a similar nature. The Engineer blamed debris in the system for causing the displacer valve to malfunction. The boiler is fitted with a magnetic filter which is supposed to prevent debris entering the boiler yet the Engineer did not clean this out. I subsequently took this up with customer services at Viessmann and requested that they send an Engineer out to either clean the filter out or to replace it as clearly it must be full of debris.
I was unable to contact customer services by telephone and had to use e mails to communicate with them. I received very unhelpful and blunt replies from them and they refused to send a Viessmann Engineer out to me. To quote their Operations Manager: “I need to be clear, your filter does not fall under our responsibility or fall under your boiler warranty”. “To use these issues on your system is like asking the car manufacturer to repair your garage door or similar, putting sand in petrol and asking for repair under warranty.” “As a boiler manufacturer we did not make, supply or fit your filter to your system”. “This is not part of your product warranty”. “We see this matter as closed and have no further information to add”. “I say again you need to contact your installer to discuss filter and system issues not ourselves”.
Happy with the engineer, customer services less so
The Veissman engineer who came to fix my boiler was great. Explained everything and fixed the problem. It would have been a five star rating but I found customer services less helpful.
No service from Veissmann warranty
I had anew Veissmann combi boiler installed I October 2923.I have requested repair 10 days ago .The company have not contacted me with an appointment.

I'm gutted to have opted for a Veissmann boiler. It's probably one of the worst financial decisions I have ever made. The boiler burst - flooding my house. By sheer luck I was in at the time and managed to get the water turned off but numerous belongings were damaged. A plumber replaced the part that had burst. And.... it burst again. I heard that same flooding sound as water poured out of the boiler early one morning and I ran and turned off the mains supply and emptied the flooded room - numerous belongings of ours were damaged again. In my communication with Veissmann - I was out of warranty. Appalling. There is, without doubt, a design fault. In the same way a car is recalled if e.g. there is a problem with the breaks that is discovered - regardless of how many years after manufacture - Veissmann, if it were a responsible manufacturer, should recall their boilers.
And... I unfortunately fitted a Veissmann to the rental property we own too. It has been plagued with breakdowns - and I have dreaded the inevitable call about it bursting - so much so I am replacing it now - and will replace mine next so that I can sleep at night - many years before I think a boiler should need replacing. The only good thing is that both times the boiler burst I was at home - had I been out it would have caused major damage throughout.

He identified the problem immediately and resolved it.
I don't think I have ever had such a professional tradesman work in our house, he explained everything as he worked on the combi boiler.
He has a great attitude and is very pleasant.
Had a fantastic service today
Had a fantastic service today - no heating, hot water only. Booked repair on line and it was sorted by Danny today who was polite and very professional. Had my heating up and running within 15 mins.

Update, has you can see from Veissmanns last response, they are arrogant and unhelpfull, it's lucky that, at the moment, we have hot weather, so don't need heating, but I was told the part have never been in stock in the UK and it has to come from Germany, I was told 10 to 15 days for the part, I beg people do not have a veissman boiler get a gas boiler installed, where parts are ready available, and the boiler was not located in the wrong place, it was put in the same place as the last one was, when the house was built, excuses and lies, I am so stressed by this company, it's only a 3 year old boiler, and I have had nothing but trouble with it, so I am going to be without hot water for a least 2 weeks, how can a company get away with this, absolutely disgusting, it doesn't even deserve 1 star, it should be 0
