I have visited the centre in Brighton…
I have visited the centre in Brighton three times now, once for an initial consultation then two treatments. Sue on reception was lovely, kind and welcoming, Kate the consultant took great care with a thorough explanation of the best treatment options available and was meticulously in her practice. Marle the nurse was kind and reassuring. Altogether a great experience

They do not live up to their claims
First of all, you have to pay for your appointment upfront, even if its months away, for me that was about £250
So, if the company goes out of business, you lose your money - normally when you go to a private consultant appointment you pay afterwards.
Also, you get an endless stream of emails if you partly complete the form and havent quite made up your mind. Then after you have booked, you still get quite a lot. It feels a bit like spam and too much automation.
When I visited, it was not in a hospital, it was in a large building which was owned by an insurance company and had lots of offices. The vien centre had 2 rooms. One for reception and the other was the treatment room.
I was in and out in 15 minutes, the whole thing felt really rushed. The consultant sat on the floor and put gel on my legs and used the same scanner as used for pregnant women baby scan.
Their claim of "your consultant will take time to understand the concerns you have" is complete rubbish. I could hardly get a word in edgeways, he was talking all the time about restless leg syndrome, which is NOT my concern at all.
Their website says "you feel truly listened to by a vascular consultant" was NOT true in my case. I had lots of questions which were not addressed.
The consultant was good in that he said I didn't need treatment, so at least they are not pushing to make money out of you, thats why I give 3 stars.
But there was no advice on how to live your life with the veins you have in the future to avoid aching legs and pain etc.... disappointed.

We’d also like to reassure you that the ultrasound scan used during our consultations is a colour duplex ultrasound scan, which uses ultrasound technology to assess the veins and competency of blood flow in the legs. This is a critical part of the medical assessment allowing the consultant to understand whether venous insufficiency is present.
While we’re pleased that you were reassured that treatment was not necessary, we understand that this does not address the concerns you have raised about the consultation itself. We’d therefore really welcome the opportunity to understand more about your experience and see how we can resolve this for you. Staff was welcoming & helpful
Staff was welcoming & helpful , Consultation very informative. Although there is parking it is a very busy area so you have to wait for a space . The clinic is on the second floor via stairs not sure if there is a lift , I would check this if you have any mobility problems

A positive experience
The friendly helpful and professional service from reception, nurse and consultant ensured it was a positive experience.
Dr Navin Mathias was extremely thorough and explained the process fully. All options were covered with an appropriate treatment plan suggested.

Efficient, Easy and worth it
Very good communication from the start. Helen and Liz were so lovely during the procedure and at the after care visit. It was very straightforward. Slightly uncomfortable getting it done. Stockings are a pain but bearable. 6 weeks on and all is healing well. Some parts feel lumpy and hard and a bit sensitive but this has got better with time. Very happy and would recommend!

Such lovely people at the centre in Lincoln. Dr Neil Prasad explained everything to me in detail and put me at ease straight away. He was very professional and patient with me. The results are fantastic, my pain and veins have gone! I recommend to anyone to have it done if they suffered like I did.

I was early for my appointment but the receptionist put me at my ease straight away bringing me a coffee while I waited. The consultation went very smoothly and the process was explained in great detail.
Haven’t had my procedure yet but I’m not at all worried about it. So far would highly recommend.
