Everyone from receptionist, Nurse and Dr were great, welcoming, making me feel very comfortable.

Made welcome from all staff. Dr David Wells was very respectful and most reassuring when explaining the cause of my leg problems and the plan for my proposed procedure.

I had a good experience, made to feel at ease, I felt that they could help the appearance of my veins and they did explain what would happen afterwards. My appointment was fairly quick and I would have liked a bit more detail. I am sure I will ask for the procedure as I have 6 months to decide. I have paid for my consultation and so I a relatively sure I will go for the procedure however I will wait until early next year, when I do not have to have my legs on show.

Was given a very warm welcome on arrival from the receptionist with the offer of a coffee. The whole appointment was done efficiently and courteously. Looking forward to my recommended treatment now.

I recently had a consultation at the Vein Centre about having my varicose veins removed, and I have to say I was really impressed with the whole experience.
Everyone was incredibly friendly, welcoming and professional, and everything was explained clearly without feeling rushed or pressured. I left feeling really reassured and confident about going ahead with the treatment.
And a special mention to the receptionist, who even made me a fresh double espresso while I was there — a lovely touch and very much appreciated! ☕️😂
Overall, a great experience so far, and I’m looking forward to getting the treatment done. I would definitely recommend the Vein Centre to anyone considering treatment for varicose veins.

Great customer service very helpful and great consolation

A new clinic in Taunton has opened so I thought now’s the time to tackle my thread veins. I didn’t know what to expect but from walking through the door for my consultation through to the follow up treatment everything was very smooth. Coffee and a biscuit to put you at ease and everything carefully explained followed up with a brochure to take home. All my questions were answered and I was reassured so booked the procedure for the following week. Very straightforward and the little injections were no worse than having a flu jab albeit about 18 times! The Dr, nurse and I chatted throughout and I was in there about 20 minutes. Even the ‘Pretty Polly holdups’ were better looking than I expected and quite comfortable. Looking forward to seeing the results in a few weeks time and no follow up needed.

I found the specialist was good and the 2 nurses were excellent but the front of house ( receptionist ) , lack of WiFi, expectation that it’s OK to be more than half an hour late because it’s the afternoon (!) with the knock on problem of car parking running out and not being able to update it because there’s no WiFi. It left me feeling like the NHS would have compared well against it, but just in the admin side honestly

Just wanted to say a huge thank you to James Harding and the team at the vein centre in Stratford. The treatment I’ve received has truly changed my life! I have gone from living in trousers, standing in certain positions or hiding my leg with a bag to the complete opposite for the first time in years! Putting on a pair of shorts and not being self conscious or having to hide my legs is elating.My experience from start to finish has been amazing, i just wish I’d done it sooner. Thank again

This has been an amazing positive experience from initial consultation through to treatment and final review. Everything was clearly explained and the results have exceeded all my expectations. I cannot thank Nigel, Cathy and Sue enough fot the care they have given me. My legs feel so much healthier and I can now wear shorts with confidence.

I honestly can’t thank David wells my consultant and sue enough for the marvellous work they have done with my leg veins . From the moment I walked through the door, the receptionist and everyone I met were so friendly,kind and welcoming, and they immediately put me at ease.
The results have been amazing, and I feel so much more confident in myself. It’s made such a difference,not only to the appearance of my legs but also to how I feel I’m truly grateful for all the care, kindness and professionalism I received thoughtout.

Initial consultation was great. Everything explained very thoroughly. Now looking forward to getting these wretched veins treated. Ridiculous waiting times on NHS.

I recently underwent varicose vein treatment with consultant vascular surgeon Mr Ahmed El-Basty at the Vein centre 46 The Avenue Southampton. I am extremely pleased with the care I received. From the initial consultation through to the procedure and follow-up appointments. Everything was explained clearly and professionally by Mr Ahmed El-Basty. The results have exceeded my expectations, and I have noticed a significant improvement in both the appearance oh my legs and my comfort. I would highly recommend The vein centre at 46 The Avenue Southampton.
