Best app so far for the veggarden
It's easy to use and very intuitive. The information it gives is great as well.
Only two things I found is that paths aren't automatically the bottom layer and I would like to have more plant option. They do give you the options add more yourself, so it sort off is a mute point.

We really appreciate you bringing up the two points you found. Your feedback is very valuable.
We hear you on the paths not automatically going to the bottom layer. That's a great suggestion, and we'll pass it along to our development team for consideration in a future update.
We're also glad you noticed that you have the option to add your own plants. While we're always working to expand our plant database, that feature is there specifically to give you the flexibility to add any variety you want.
Also, if you let us know what you'd like adding to the main database we can add it to the list.

AMAZING
AMAZING! I only wish there was a way to recover an accidentally deleted item. I deleted black eyed peas and have no idea how to recover that option.

We completely understand the frustration of accidentally deleting an item. The good news is that we have an Undo feature for this exact reason!
You can quickly recover a deleted item by clicking the Undo button at the top right of the plan view. Alternatively, you can use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + Z (or Cmd + Z on a Mac).
This should help you easily recover items like the black-eyed peas in the future. Thanks again for the valuable feedback!

Merci pour votre avis. Je soupçonne que vous avez des potagers surdimensionnés. Si vous sélectionnez un potager, quelles sont les dimensions (largeur et longueur) indiquées dans le panneau de droite ? Je suppose que vous l'avez indiqué à 200 m plutôt qu'à 200 cm, etc. Si vous pouviez nous envoyer le lien vers votre plan par e-mail à support@vegplotter.com, je pourrai vérifier pour vous.
Pen and paper are just as good.
It’s ok but better than the other garden planners. I find the work space too small and difficult to expand. Pen and paper are just as good.

Thank you for your review. We're glad to hear you find VegPlotter better than other garden planners, but we're sorry that the workspace size is causing frustration. We understand that some users prefer the traditional pen-and-paper method, and our goal is to offer a powerful, flexible digital alternative that suits different styles.
If you're finding a mobile screen too small you could try using it in the browser on a computer. That will give you far more space.
If by workspace you mean the size of the plan, you can expand it by zooming out with your mouse wheel or trackpad, and you can also pan around by clicking and dragging. You can also set the garden size in the settings menu.
We're continuously working on optimizing the user experience for various screen sizes. We're always striving to improve VegPlotter, and your feedback is valuable in helping us do that.
Veg plotter makes spacing planning easy
Veg plotter was an easy way to plan my garden spacing and they responded to my question quickly and helpfully. The other feature I would like with it is companion planting as well as spacing and the ability to put in my particular seed packet spacing info. Maybe these are available with the highest level pay version but I prefer one time payments- there are too many subscription apps

Fantastic! We're thrilled you found VegPlotter easy for planning your garden spacing and that our support team was helpful. You'll be happy to know that both companion planting suggestions and the ability to enter your specific seed packet spacing are features available to all VegPlotter users, even on the free plan!
To explore our companion planting tool, select any plant on your plan and a list of companion plants for that plant will appear in the right hand menu for you to drag on to the plan next to it.
To tailor the spacing to your seed packet's recommendations just add the plant then select it and you can change the spacing to those recommended in the right hand menu. You can then duplicate the planting to other areas as you need. An advanced level subscription will also let you create custom plants to set your own default spacings too.

Very basic
Very basic. Doesn’t include raised beds and some fruit like mangoes. Would be nice if the app allowed you to label the beds and other items yourself

Thank you for your feedback. We appreciate you trying VegPlotter. We wanted to let you know that you can change any bed type to a raised beds from the menu. Just select the bed and then raised bed in the bed type option. We do understand that we have some plants or certain fruits like mangoes missing. We are continuously working on expanding our features and plant library, and feedback like yours helps us prioritize future development. Good news - we will be adding a dedicated bed labeling feature very soon! While it's not available just yet, keep an eye out for updates. In the meantime, some users utilize the notes section for each bed to achieve a similar result.
