My volunteering experience with VCD Nepal was wonderful from start to finish. Communication was excellent throughout, and I felt warmly welcomed right from the beginning, including a smooth airport pickup.

A highlight was being part of Nepali family life and enjoying delicious home-cooked meals while learning about the culture. I spent a week volunteering at Thoriket School in Chitwan, where I was able to experience a completely different school environment and connect with the local community.

After volunteering, the team also helped organise my Annapurna Base Camp trek, which went very smoothly, and they ensured everything was arranged for my departure as well.

I would sincerely recommend VCD Nepal to anyone considering volunteering in Nepal!

I handle the network of Vinted and I’m currently in Nepal for a gap month, volunteering with VCD, and I’ll be here until mid-January — and let me tell you, this is so much more than just “volunteering.”

Bicky and his team gave me a deep love for the country—so much that I would love to live there one day. I went to Nepal 10 years ago to volunteer with VCD Nepal and it was one of the best experiences of my life. Everyone there is so warm and friendly - they really welcome you into their family.

I found VCDnepal when I was looking to go to Nepal for a few months. I’m so grateful I did. VCD Nepal is a local organization run by Bikram Paudel. I volunteered for one month in a small village in Chitwan. When I first got to Nepal I was nervous but Bikram assured me every step of the way and made sure we felt comfortable the whole time. Teaching the kids at the local school was unforgettable. The connections I made through VCD and the experiences I had were honestly life Changing. The best host family I could have asked for. I hope to return soon and do more volunteering in the future with VCD

This was one of the best experiences of my life. VCD made my time in Nepal very special and made me feel at home. We volunteered at a local government school in Torikhet, Chitwan and stayed with a local family. The family was extremely welcoming and felt like my own family. I recommend VCD to anyone who wants to experience the true culture of Nepal and make real connections with locals. VCD was very affordable and covered all of our travel and lodging costs. I plan on coming back to Nepal and volunteering for VCD Nepal again in the future. There is no better way to immerse yourself in the culture of Nepal!
