Mr Greenstein was very reassuring, quickly diagnosed my mother's condition and clearly explained the issue and the treatment required. He was extremely helpful sorting everything out, for which we are very grateful.
Due to problems with the NHS I chose to see Mr Greenstein to resolve the problem I had with my swollen ankle since October 2020. He diagnosed a problem with the vein in my left leg and recommended an MRI scan to confirm that there was not a problem with the vein by my hip bone. The scan showed there is a potential problem there but recommended laser treatment to relieve the swelling which was done in early November. This has been very successful.

Thank you Jwat - I am very sorry to hear you had problems with getting treatment on the NHS but also delighted to hear you had very successful treatment at our unit.
I spoke with Mr Greenstein regarding a referral for Varicose Vein treatment. Mr Greenstein was extremely helpful in advising that I required an MRI of my Pelvis and not Varicose Vein treatment. I am so thankful that I spoke with him that day as it turns out that I have May-Thurner Syndrome and complete blockage of my iliac vein with a clot. I would not have discovered this without his advice. Thank you!

Thanks Claire for your your kind words. Your comments also highlight the importance of tests and investigations as if you did not have your MRI scan you would not have known about your blood clot as this was not seen on the ultrasound scan you had. Thanks David Greenstein
I saw Dr Greenstein on the 09/06/2021 for a consultation and Doppler. The Doctor said that my Doppler did not show any clinical problem and requested a blood test which was done at the hospital On the same say.
I received today the 07/07/2021 a letter from the Dr secretary which goes through the results of the doopler but no blood results. I did request that and had the results sent by email.
I Also realised that he charged my insurance 750 pound for the consultation ( I called the Dr secretary who passed me to the Dr who said that his consultation was 250 pound and Doppler 500 pound ) , in addition the hospital charged 970 pound for the blood test...
Clearly not a good experience and too much charged for what it is worth.

Thank you Sonia for your comment , I am very sorry you feel aggrieved at the cost of investigations . Tests are very important in diagnosing clinical problems. However your point does highlight that investigations can be very expensive. If they are not done then there is a real and significant risk of missing something clinically important or not getting the correct treatment . David Greenstein

Mr Greenstein is a knowledgeable and experienced consultant who provided an excellent treatment service to me. He put me at ease in my first consultation and gave me a lot of relevant information to help me decide and plan treatment options. I had treatment on both legs and had one done at a time, Despite the COVID situation it was a vey manageable process to get appointments for treatment and follow-up. I have recently completed the second op and treatment and everything is progressing precisely as Mr Greenstein explained. It was a pleasure dealing with him and his team throughout. I would highly recommend him for EVLA treatments.
