I wish I had read the negative reviews before ordering from Vanimal. The tow bar arrived and didn’t appear to fit properly. I was initially told I had ordered the wrong one, but then they confirmed it was actually correct the next day. Upon closer inspection, one of the arms on the tow bar was bent inwards, which was the cause of the issue. Over the phone, they admitted it was a manufacturing fault and said it would be replaced as I reports this quickly 1 day after delivery.

However, I later received an email stating that because I accepted the delivery and didn’t refuse it as “damaged,” there was nothing they could do and pushed the blame onto me. The bar itself looks worn and not brand new, with clear patchy paint and scratches, which seems to be a common issue based on other reviews I’ve since read. I was even told to try straightening it myself — which I absolutely shouldn’t have to do.

My advice - Avoid this company and shop elsewhere.

Great racking system, sturdy, well-designed, fits in my Transporter perfect. The storage layout makes organising my Makita toolboxes easy. Delivery was fast. Straightforward to install, video was helpful and the hexaboard finish looks classy

Absolutely shocking. My racking arrived covered in sawdust and with the wrong parts. To their credit, but after numerous chasing they did re-cut a piece after weeks of waiting which finally fitted, only then to find out there where still miss sized pieces in the box.
After emailing again asking for help I have heard nothing. Twice!
Will never buy anything from this company again. Waisted my time without any real consideration and took my money for a product that was not fit for purpose and I ended up having to modify. It would be funny if it wasn’t so mean!

I do not know how this company recieves any decent reviews.

Firstly when the order was placed delivery took approximately 3 weeks, even though it says delivery within days. My first follow up was completely ignored, so I phoned up to be informed it wasn't acceptable and it they were sure it was going to be despatched the new day. A week later it was despatched.

Recieved a day or 2 later

However, none of it fits together, Vaninal have admitted its not good enough, and I woukd hear by the day after as it has been relayed to the team. That was 2 weeks ago, now I am just getting totally ignored, I have racking that is no use as it doesn't fit together, that's 2 packs. And it can clearly be seen that the jig has been set up incorrectly.

Absolute waste of time this company, avoid like the plague. I admit mistakes can happen but this is just ignorance and poor quality workmanship

This is a further review to the one I left in October 2023.
I never did get a refund and the lies and cheating this company gets away with, needs investigating. They actually have some five star reviews on here and i think it is obvious from the dates posted that they are all false as they come in clusters. seven five star reviews posted on 6th and 9th December and sweet FA for the ten weeks before. That is fraudulent.
Also if you go on Company's house website, Vanimal is listed as a dormant company. I would be suprised if they are actually allowed to trade while dormant.
Somebody local needs to contact trading standards and get this company sorted.

I wish I had done more digging and read the reviews before buying. DO NOT order from this company.
My first order came damaged on the internal holes, like someone had it before, tried to blame it on the delivery company!! so lies from the first email response. The racking I ordered was meant to be black, 1 unit was the other was the natural wood.
They did offer a refund or brand new made again the same day and delivered the next. Shock, the items never came the next day and I waited 5 days for them to arrive. New racking arrived with a piece missing.
I sent multiple emails to them to speak to the MD but apparently is on holiday. Shocking customer service. I am not going to let this go though, I will continue to push and get a full refund for the products I have brought. I think they just try to ignore you for as long as possible to hope that you just go away. If you are reading this or other reviews, please take not and do not order from this company.

I found the company totally useless at customer service and the product was barely acceptable. I ordered the racking system for my van. I had no idea when it was coming and called them for a tracking. Once it arrived I opened the 3 boxes, every piece of the jigsaw was covered in dust to such an extent it was unbelievable. I then attempted to put the units together and noticed at least half the pieces were all damaged and the edges were ruined due to the bad packing. I also noticed they had sent me 2 identical left hand shelving units which prevented me installing. I had to wait for new end panels to arrive and eventually when they did, I continued the build I again realised I was short of a shelf divider!! Clearly they don’t check what they send and rush it out of the door without even wiping the parts down after it has been through their cutting workshops. I awaited the missing shelf divider and had to call them after they clearly said it was shipping the next day which it wasn’t and they then sent the missing part. The whole experience was unbelievable. I contacted James at Vanimal many times and he apologised over and over again after each incident of complaint and said he would speak to his sales director for compensation and totally agreed the standard of the products shipped was unacceptable. His sales director was working from home that day, which means what exactly!!?? I’m still awaiting a response and yes I understand companies have issues sometimes but it’s always about how you deal with an issue which makes the company. Clearly they have no interest and just want your money for a very low standard system, and hope you go away and don’t complain. I would include photos but cannot see where to do it.

Good quality, fair price and very responsive and friendly seller! Will definitely recommend.

Poor customer service, poor customer engagement, basic ignorance, bought 2 sets of Ford transit racking , both the racks where cnc’d in the wrong place making it impossible to complete the build , got in touch with Vanimal , still
No reply , shame on you guys , we are mostly Trades people kitting our vans out for work, and you take our money for faulty products and Leave us hanging . I hope you improve your products and customer

I can't express enough how reactive and amazing the customer service is here! I had a small issue with one panel and this was replaced at great speed. Fantastic product, great quality. I will definitely buy more from here.
