I recently had the pleasure of renting a motorhome for a trip to the beautiful Lake District, and I can’t recommend this service highly enough! From start to finish, the entire process was seamless and stress-free. The motorhome was spotlessly clean, well-equipped, and very comfortable—perfect for exploring the stunning scenery of the area.
The staff were top-class—friendly, professional, and always available to answer any questions or provide assistance. Their attention to detail and customer service made the whole experience even more enjoyable.
Overall, everything was perfect, and I would not hesitate to use this motorhome hire service again. Thank you for making our trip so memorable!

Has a fantastic time cruising from London to Cornwall and back again! It’s the first time we hired a motorhome and found it such a relaxing way to get about!! The handover was well explained and writhing minutes we were on our way. The motorhome is heated and well equipped for even the harshest of weather. Christmas camper adventure
From a casual enquiry to full two week booking - all interactions with the guys at Vaaaroom has been amazing from email exchange and phone calls with Sharon to pre departure checks and demonstration from Nikki - nothing was too much nor any silly question we had gone unanswered, the camper itself was immaculate and fully equip for what we needed it for and very easy to drive and navigate, I cannot recommend these guys enough so much so shall be booking again for a long weekend this month with a larger camper. Disastrous experience
A five-seater caravan was hired for five days. After refueling on the first journey, a fuel leak was detected. The vehicle was known to have a defective valve, but this was not disclosed at handover. Roadside assistance couldn't rectify the issue. The leak caused significant inconvenience, necessitating hotel accommodations and rendering the vehicle unusable for cooking. A dispute was raised, and a £200 compensation was received, which was insufficient compared to the loss. The experience was disastrous. Issuing a defective vehicle that compromises safety is unacceptable. Strongly advised against hiring from this provider.

While Fiat Assist did confirm that the fuel tank overfill pipe had a manufacturer error, they assured us it was safe to travel and use the motorhome in full. Nonetheless, we understand that this caused significant inconvenience. The vehicle should not have impacted your ability to cook or require hotel stays, and we regret any confusion.
We did our best to address your concerns and offered a £200 compensation as a gesture of goodwill. We take all feedback seriously and use it to improve our services. We hope to regain your trust in the future.

I hired a camper for one week and…
I hired a camper for one week and initially all ok. On return the check in guy pointed out a small piece of the rear Perspex window was broken off. I know that I did not cause this damage and checked to outgoing photographic images. Surprisingly there was no photo taken of the damaged window. I challenged this and was advised that I must have damaged it as was not broken on my collection. I disputed this but have still been charged. Communication is appalling and days pass with little or no response. Vey disappointed and I will not use this company again. I believe I was treated unfairly and dishonestly.

As per the Vaaroom terms and conditions, you opted for the Full Cover, which reduced your liability for any damages to £250. After our comprehensive 120-point post-hire vehicle health check, we unfortunately identified a new crack in the motorhome’s bedroom window, which was not present in the pre-hire condition checklist. The cost of replacing the window is £590 (excluding delivery and installation), but as per your Full Cover, your liability was limited to £250.
We understand how frustrating this situation is, especially since you feel certain the damage wasn’t caused during your hire. Please know that we take great care in documenting the condition of our vehicles, both before and after hire, and follow a transparent process. We strive to be fair and have even waived the parking charge as a gesture of goodwill for being a valued repeat customer.
It's disheartening to read your review, particularly as a family business that prides itself on treating each guest with care and attention. We are pleased to hear that your trip itself went well and that you enjoyed the experience. However, receiving a one-star review is difficult, especially after the efforts we’ve made to minimize your costs.
Once again, we apologize if our communication fell short, and we will work on improving this aspect of our service. We hope to regain your trust in the future.

Wonderful campervan
Wonderful campervan, large interior, beds already set up at back of van. I am 6ft 4, so was a bit worried I would fit in the beds or be able to stand up, but the beds were beyond my expectations, If you were even as tall as 6ft 7 I am pretty sure you would be able to lay down straight in them. Overall a great experience that I will definitely do again.

Hired 6 berth home for a long weekend at a show jumping event. Needed to be off-grid. At least 7 x motorhomes hired from this company for this event.
Non of the gas fridges worked and caused us to throw away £100’s of food.
No accountability taken. No offer to contribute towards food.
Taking further actions.
If using off-grid. Avoid.

Hi Steven,
Apologies for the delay in my reply but I wanted to check the pre hire and post hire checks on the Motorhome and I can confirm that the fridge was working correctly both before your hire and on the day of return and the van went back out the next day with no fault.
We also provide a how to guide to reset the fridge on your unique Customer Page for all of our Guests in case of an issue on the road.
I understand that this will not rectify your complaint but I have to be balanced and unbiased when investigating any complaint and for you to state that non of the fridges worked on gas across 7 of our brand new 2024 Motorhomes is untrue.
We have also made the checks on the remaining Motorhomes and the fridges on all of them are working normally on gas.

Hiring a camper for the first time…
Hiring a camper for the first time seemed daunting, but the team made it easy.
The vehicle itself was superb and a pleasure to drive - perfect for our needs. All our questions were answered quickly either over email or in person. We had no problems or quibbles when returning the vehicle. Our deposits were returned as promised and on time. Will definitely book again.

We hired a 6-berth motorhome for a 9 day tour around Wales. My wife did the driving (thankfully). The motorhome was fantastic. When we picked it up from the Romford depot, we were shown how to change the toilet, empty the waste water etc. In hindsight, I should have recorded all that as there’s a few things to pay attention to if you’re a novice. My wife coped heroically with some very narrow roads, and we returned the Motorhome in pristine condition. Everyone at Vaaroom was a pleasure to deal with. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them

Great long weekend in 6 berth Motorhome.
Hired a 6 berth motorhome for the bank holiday weekend to take a trip to the Cotswolds. Customer service was great. Very helpful and always there to answer any questions ahead of picking up the motorhome. Pick up was easy. Drove to the Romford Depot and left our car there. We had a brand new 24 plate motorhome. In pristine condition. So comfortable and clean. We had a great weekend! Would highly recommend Vaaroom. Everything was so easy and the motorhome was great. Will definitely hire from Vaaroom again.

Order a VW Camper for Glastonbury. Great service from the team, easy communication and the car was in excellent condition and spotlessly cleaned! Value wasn’t too bad compared to other vendors. Only issue I had was they closed one of their stores which meant I had to travel further to collect but they proactively compensated me for the inconvenience. Will 100% use again!!
