I've been using small Braun clocks for many years - they've been terrific and reliable - and quite charming in their look - I like the new one with a slight color line around front - pretty - and for a change!!!

The clock has two levels of lighting
The clock has two levels of lighting. I wanted to be able to look at the at night and know what time it is.
The clock is set for the lower level of light with the result that one can't read it. So, for me the clock is worthless. I could have returned it but I did not want to go through the expense and hassle. I still have the clock, but I will either give it away or throw it away!
Veery disatisfied customer!!!

As advertised this is a compact LCD clock which operates on a single AAA battery so the backlight function can only be activated for approximately 10 seconds. With all LCD battery operated clock, to read the time at night, the backlight function is requires to be activated with a press of a button to read the time.

NOT ABLE TO RETURN CLOCK
I had NO idea that my clock was being shipped from London/UK and when I tried to send it back (my expense) the shipping cost EXCEEDED the value of the clock. I cannot find a way to return to a USA address. I have called Braun repeatedly but was only able to reach the "grooming products" area and "distribution" centers. VERY FRUSTRATED WITH BRAUN. Would like to return item but unable

Everything worked well except the settings: to difficult to be precise using only the tip of one's finger. Better to have an easier way to set the time, something simpler to turn.
