I placed uptownie order on 4th Aug. For 15 days there was no movement and no one responded from their support team, then i finally got response from the team on 22nd and received my product yesterday after 20 days (as a result of multiple calls/ WhatsApp msg/ insta DM follow up)
Although the Product received and quality is upto my expectations, delivery response could have been better.

I had ordered one midi dress on 23rd of July rs 2574/- today is 10th August till not received anything yet but my on their website showing my order is fulfilled so i called customer care that person named Aditya Mishra was literally trying to to still my paytm account by screening when I got to know there is froud I close the app and switched off the phone so I got terrible experience from this fake uptownie company it’s a scammer..they should get punished

I recently placed an order with Uptownie worth ₹11,000 and wanted to return a few items I didn’t like. The items were unworn, unwashed, and I initiated the return request the same day they were delivered.
To my shock, their customer service informed me that they do not offer refunds — only store credits, regardless of product condition or timing.
This is frustrating and unfair. Even major Indian and international brands offer full refunds if the customer is unsatisfied. What makes Uptownie so different that they feel justified in locking customer money in their store, especially when the return is initiated within hours?
If I don’t want to shop with them again, why should I be forced to?
I will definitely be sharing my experience on all platforms.
Be careful before ordering from them — read the return policy, and know that you won’t get your money back.

Most Pathetic Online store who haven't shipped my order since a month and still no updates about it. They just take your money and do nothing.
I made an order and it's more than 15 days my order is still in process. The delivery date mentioned is within 7days and it's more than 15 days now. Nor they are confirming any tentative date. Also, payment is already made in advance as there is no cod option.
I placed a fully paid order of 2 dresses on May 7th. Order # 514642. I am writing a review after waiting for 2 whole months.

The above is the response being received from them for the Nth number of time. They aren't ready to cancel the order and refund the money either. Please do not make a fool out of yourself. I clearly lost 2000 Rs. And also my time.
I purchased two items initially. Then returned two items bcz it didn’t fit me well. They gave me credit points. I again purchased three items out of which two were bought using credit points. One of them now is not fitting me so I asked for return and they are saying that they don’t accept any returns on items bought using credit points. What kind of rule is that and nowhere they mentioned this. It’s a stupid site and total waste of money. Stuff is also not good.
Order delivery time shows 4-5 days. Ready to ship. But it’s been two week they have not even processed the order, they keep sending me order delayed messages which I think are auto generated, on checking order status it shows not yet processed and when I select cancel order it says that my order has already been shipped so can’t be canceled. On further enquiry they said they are in process of shifting the warehouse so there is delay. Then next time in a few hours they said too many orders have come in so there is a delay. Clearly fake reasons and the company seems completely fraudulent. Even now the piece I have ordered on the website shows ready to ship and one day shipping . So clearly it’s a scam. As if they are short on stock they should update it as sold out or Pre order.!
Placed an order for two shirts on 17 June 2025. As per website details shipping was to happen in 2-3 business days. No such thing happened and they constantly keep sending messages apologizing for the delay as they have received too many orders and no date for shipping. Comments posted on their FB page are judiciously deleted so that they can lure people to place orders. Most Pathetic service. Most definitely avoidable. I am sure I have lost the money.

I had ordered a top from the online portal Uptownie in size L. While the quality of the product was decent, the fitting was not appropriate. So, I opted to exchange it for a different design in a larger size (XL), thinking it would resolve the fit issue.
To my surprise, the XL size didn’t fit either — in fact, it was worse. While I could at least wear the size L, the XL top didn’t even go down past the chest area. This seems to be a flaw in the product’s design or sizing chart.
For reference, I usually wear size M or L in brands like H&M and Vero Moda, so Uptownie’s sizing appears to be highly inaccurate. Unfortunately, they only allow a one-time exchange and don’t offer refunds. I emailed them explaining the situation — that the product is of no use to me now — and requested another exchange, not a refund. They refused.
As a result, I’m left with a top that I cannot wear at all. It’s incredibly disappointing, and practices like these are why companies like Uptownie struggle to gain loyal customers. In my opinion, their policies are rigid and unfair, and the experience feels borderline deceptive.
Uptownie is FRAUD They took my money now they are not delivering my product. I texted them they are not replying in WhatsApp n aslo nobody is responding in their customer support number. It's a totally fraud website
Scammers!! Worst people will block you when you keep pinging with queries and you will never receive product you order. Scamming everyone since God know when, before order search uptownie over linkedin to know truth. Ordered product on 7 may and still nothing received.
They r fraud I have ordered my dress more than a month ago but not got the product yet nd customer support is pathetic nd in whtupp also I only receive the generated message no action or reply I got from them…feel cheated but I m not going to let them my money fraud i will go to police and take the legal action on this kind of fraud company should be off from permanent
