Over the past 10+ years, we have grown organically through repeat clients, referrals, and recommendations from homeowners, landlords, and property managers across London. As our clients’ needs evolved, we expanded from smaller works into delivering fully managed renovation projects, building a reputation for reliability, quality, and professionalism. Today, we focus on medium to large-scale projects, providing a structured and well-managed service designed to remove the stress often associated with building work. Our clients value clear communication, accountability, and the ability to rely on one company to manage every aspect of their project. Unlike many contractors, we do not use subcontractors. All work is carried out by our directly employed in-house team, supported by our office staff covering materials procurement, finance, operations, and project coordination. This ensures consistent quality, better communication, and full control across every stage of the project. The company is run day-to-day by the owner, a civil engineer with over a decade of experience delivering projects of varying scale and complexity. Combined with over 100 years of team experience, this allows us to plan, manage, and deliver projects to a high professional standard. We begin with a free site visit and provide a detailed, itemised quotation with full cost transparency. Once a project is confirmed, we take care of everything — including procurement, scheduling, and managing all trades — through to completion and final handover. Alongside our renovation work, we also provide ongoing property maintenance services for our clients, covering plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general repairs. Whether it’s a bathroom renovation, kitchen refurbishment, decorating project, or full property renovation, our aim is to deliver high-quality results with a smooth, organised, and stress-free experience from start to finish.

Upper Street Handyman provide a high-quality service. We hired them to remove wallpaper from our new flat and then prepare the walls for painting. They were responsive and helpful in providing a quote and have done an excellent job. They clearly take pride in their work! The whole team was extremely friendly and respectful. Even minor details that you worry about, like moving furniture around, was done with care and diligence. Will be using for future work!

Excellent plumbing handyman
Quick, efficient handyman help with two minor plumbing issues I had in my apartment. The plumber was prompt, polite and able to easily identify the problem and source the parts to fix. He had to return to fix the second of the two issues but I was able to schedule this easily within a day or two. Only downside was the cost but I think you pay a small premium for the speed and convenience. Have used before and would use again.

Replacing kitchen under cupboard lighting
Our kitchen lighting needed to be replaced and the old lights no longer available. Upper Street Handyman replaced the under unit light panels with new panels and new LED strip lights. I'm very pleased - everyone came on time, no fuss and new lighting looks great.
