As our clients’ needs evolved, we expanded from smaller works into delivering fully managed renovation projects, building a reputation for reliability, quality, and professionalism. Today, we focus on medium to large-scale projects, providing a structured and well-managed service designed to remove the stress often associated with building work. Our clients value clear communication, accountability, and the ability to rely on one company to manage every aspect of their project. Unlike many contractors, we do not use subcontractors. All work is carried out by our directly employed in-house team, supported by our office staff covering materials procurement, finance, operations, and project coordination. This ensures consistent quality, better communication, and full control across every stage of the project. The company is run day-to-day by the owner, a civil engineer with over a decade of experience delivering projects of varying scale and complexity. Combined with over 100 years of team experience, this allows us to plan, manage, and deliver projects to a high professional standard. We begin with a free site visit and provide a detailed, itemised quotation with full cost transparency. Once a project is confirmed, we take care of everything — including procurement, scheduling, and managing all trades — through to completion and final handover. Alongside our renovation work, we also provide ongoing property maintenance services for our clients, covering plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general repairs. I had a good experience using upper street handyman. Two guys came to do the job, professional and courteous. The job took less time than I expected and you do need to pay the minimum 1 hour charge. It was a pity I had not other jobs for them to do once they had finished!

I have used this company for repairs in…
I have used this company for repairs in my flat for several years and have always found them dependable. Recently I had to have trickle vents inserted into the double glazing. Karzan arrived promptly and fitted them into the windows quickly and left no mess, in short very professionally.

Sam disconnected our hard-wired fridge…
Sam disconnected our hard-wired fridge freezer and replaced it with a three-pin plug socket. He also changed some light fittings for us. This is the second time he has done some work in our home and I have found him to be polite, friendly and efficient both times. Wouldn't hesitate to use him again for electrical work.

I needed an Electrictian and they happen to have someone available. He came in and was very knowledgable and explained all to me. Found the issue lights fixed all within an hour. None of this lingering to extend time. Lovely chap and will be using these guys moving forwards.
