We were welcomed at check in and everything explained perfectly. Twin room overlooked the garden and was perfect!

We stayed at St Hugh’s college in…
We stayed at St Hugh’s college in Oxford. The rooms were clean and tidy. Booking and check in very easy. Car parking good and all staff we came across were very helpful. Breakfast was excellent. Fantastic value for money.

I had a great time at St Hugh's in Oxford
I had a great time at St Hugh's, in Oxford, while meeting old friends. (Four of us booked rooms and were able to relax together/chat in one of the rooms, or at breakfast or sitting in the garden!)
Very comfortable room and bed, and decent shower. A lovely big breakfast in the hall. And friendly staff. I love the gardens. It is one of the very few colleges that offers parking - but I came by train this time. I still chose St Hugh's. It is (I think) my 4th stay.

Fantastic - Duchy House
we stayed at the Duchy House on the Strand (London) - fantastic location and very reasonable prices. While there was no air conditioning in the building, we were able to cool the room off with a combination of open windows and electric fans. I will definitely be booking here again, and using University Rooms for different locations

Bodicote House is cheap for a reason
Bodicote House is cheap for a reason: It's dirty. The carpets and chairs are stained, the shower is grimy, there was hair in the sink, and the whole place smelled of stale weed. The staff were very nice and the location was great, but I would never stay in Bodicote House again. Not hygenic.

New College Student Room
A lovely stay in New College, Oxford. The single room was historic and comfortable. Right in the centre of Oxford. I would highly recommend it for those reliving a student weekend.

Excellent value
My room was comfortable, clean and large. It was obviously student accommodation which I was expecting so it wasn’t hotel standard. It was excellent value for the city centre. It was lovely to be able to walk around the college. I really appreciated the welcome from the porter.

Great experience!
Great experience to stay in the college, it's very beautiful - I loved the wooden window seats and table in my room. My only complaint is that the mattress was thin, springy and uncomfortable.
Staff are courteous and knowledgeable throughout.
Breakfast is good and it's a treat to be able to eat in the Medieval Hall.
It was very hot on the 3rd floor and it would have been nice to have been able to open the windows properly, but I presume this is an H&S thing. The hot tap didn't work in the bathroom sink and there was rubbish on top of the wardrobe, but I reported these to reception on departure.

Historic setting made our weekend
The historic setting, in Christ Church college, was a privilege, especially eating breakfast in the dining room.
The breakfast was the best, highest quality, as was the service.
The room was comfortable, but not luxurious, but ordinary student accommodation

Hell is other guests!
Overall a great stay. Lovely friendly welcome from the porters. Just a couple of disappointments and one irritation: no soap in the toilet felt unhygienic and it was annoying to have to go back out to the shop (stays at other colleges all included soap); chopped fruit was just melon on both mornings (again other colleges had a better selection) and other guests letting the door slam shut after midnight and before 6 am to the extent that the whole building shook!

St Antony's College, Oxford
The porters and catering team were lovely, but room service was inconsistent. Used towels were sometimes folded and put back, and I had to ask the porters for clean ones. Tea, milk, and sugar were not replenished more than once, including from Friday to Monday; the porters could only help on one occasion. Despite the good variety of jams, there was no honey, a healthier option that would have suited both guests and the summer school children who were also housed in this College during my stay.
