Avoid at all costs! I realized after I filled out two applications that this was not a government site and was about to dispute the charges. Like others, it was the first website that popped up, and I filled out the information and paid. Please slow down and pay attention. If it's not .edu, .gov, question it.

I don't understand how what they do is legal. This was the first result on my Google search for renewing my passport

I fell so this and didn’t realize it until I got an email saying my forms were on the way…. Yea so the forms came… no passport. You basically pay THEM to fill out forms you can filll out for FREE online. I don’t understand how they’re getting away with this. I reached out to them before they shipped out my package for a refund and they waited an entire day to answer me so they could ship out the free forms you could do YOURSELF. And all the reviews that are 4/5star are clearly fake accounts. Do not fall for this. I am making a tik tok.

Yep, I got scammed by them too. Really thought I was on the US site. They do send you the form, but it's the same for you would get on the actual site. They can print a picture that you take with your phone. Other than that, you still have to take all of the steps you normally would. If this cost $30, that might be worth it.

I fell for it like many others. I’m sure there’s fine print that tells users what it really is, but if you’re not looking for it, you’re led to believe it’s an online passport application. IT IS NOT. It’s an extremely overpriced service to print documents you could have easily printed yourself (with the exception of the photo, but that’s not expensive or difficult, either). Very scammy.
Shame on me for not being vigilant, but shame on you scumbags for misleading people like that. I wish you all lots of mildly annoying maladies. Not unbearable pain or death, mind you, just bothersome stuff like a bad paper cut. Or a stye that won’t go away. At the very least, a guilty conscience you just can’t shake until one day, you grow up and start doing some good in the world. I have no doubt your mothers didn’t love you (or daddy left or whatever) and I’m sorry for all that, but you can be better than the hand you were dealt.
In summary, you suck. Perhaps it’s not entirely your fault, but it is your responsibility to fix it. That is all.

Avoid this at all cost! It’s a scam!!! A rip off! It’s very misleading! It is not a government agency. It’s a rip off service posing as an official passport site that charges you $180 for printing out the forms you fill out yourself!! It’s a terrible scam!

***DO NOT USE*** Take down this website!!! This is a scam to obtain personal data and get paid handsomely for having collected it! As mentioned by other reviewers, the link appears prominently at the top of a search for "second passport". Contrary to my usual check for .gov, it was so clean, polished and easy that I got sucked in. There were several red lights that I should have heeded: site would not accept my Visa Card for payment, my bank texted me to get approval for payment by debit card, and just too easy for a US .gov website! Upon realizing my error within 10 min. of application, I sent a chat to cancel my order and requested a refund. I was supposedly in a chat queue waiting for a "real agent" for almost 2 hours, with regular updates reporting my position in the queue. When it finally was my turn, there was no response and the chat ended!

Unbelievably scammy. When i saw the fees at the end I immediately knew this was some BS.

I to was scammed by United Passport. It popped up first and sounded official. Cost me $185 dollars. later i figured out i could have filled out the forms for no cost.
I still had to do all the work and spend another $35 for an acceptance agency and $130 to the US department of State. Then wait another 4-8 wks.
All United Passport did was send me a copy of the application i filled out online and a copy of the picture i sent them. I waited 4 days for this B.S! This company should be sued and thrown out of business. Shame on Google for letting them pop up like they are a legitimate company.

They are scamming people who want to renew their US passport on the official site.

Wish I had done research first. This place preys on people googling for how to get a passport. They literally charge you like $180 for something that is free on the state department website. Under no circumstances should you give this company a cent of your money.

I just got scammed by United Passport. They're the first result in Google when you enter "Passport Application."
I was an idiot and saw the US Seal and picture of a passport and just started filling out the forms. I ended up paying them $232 to fill out forms by myself and have them mailed to me. I could have accomplished all of this for free on the State Department website or by walking in to a Post Office. Don't be an idiot like me, avoid United Passport at all costs.

This is a complete scam, as many others have already pointed out. I have reported this website to Google and requested that it be removed from the top search results. The reason many of us were misled is simple - we trust Google in our daily lives. Without thinking twice, we click the first result because our subconscious mind and habit (“muscle memory”) tell us it must be legitimate. These scammers understand consumer psychology very well and appear to be paying to stay at the top of search results to exploit that trust. There are countless scams online, but this one is particularly concerning because it appears as a top search result for something as important as U.S. passport renewal. That level of visibility gives it an appearance of legitimacy that misleads people into sharing sensitive personal information and paying unnecessary fees. It is alarming that a website like this continues to operate so prominently. I find it difficult to understand how this has not been addressed, given the serious risk it poses to consumers.
