A job well done
From the visit of Assessor Craig, who was friendly and informative, through to installation the service was very professional. Lee and Anthony removed old insulation, sprayed loft with biocede treatment and fitted new insulation. They were quick, tidy and cleaned up when finished. They explained everything to me and invited me to check work when complete. Would certainly recommend.

ESN loft insulation…
From initial conversation to completion of the work everyone was very helpful. We spoke to Pippa who arranged the first inspection and as we were unsure about the outcome Pippa arranged for a senior person to come. Bernie came and was professional and knowledgeable and spent a lot of time explaining to us and answering questions even though he had other calls to make. We felt that we were important and were supported well including support regarding health requirements. This enabled us to make the decision to go ahead.
Within days we had the technicians here to remove old insulation and replace with the new safe insulation. The technicians Mitchell and Ben were great. They were professional and kept us informed of progress and tidied afterwards. We were left with no mess and they took everything. All in all we are extremely satisfied with the work and especially the support of Pippa and Bernie and Freya in the office. Thank you

The two lads arrived on time
The two lads arrived on time, cleared my loft, and put down the new insulation in two days. They took all the old insulation and all the things I did not want to keep away and cleaned up everywhere after they had finished, job well done.

Actual work which was done is ok but as for the rest of it….
First of all the guys were late, then when they pulled up just sat in van for ages. Then when they started the work were arguing constantly all day. Made for a very long day

The lad worked hard and long hours
The lad worked hard and long hours. Respected my property and made sure to clean up and remove all waste before he left for the evening.
Also they were pleasant, polite and good humoured throughout. I highly recommend them....Oh yes they also did a great job and I can definitely feel the difference.

Frustrating !!
We have never put a negative review on trust pilot (never needed to)
We were also holding back out of courtesy, which is more than we have been shown from UK energy saving network.
After being quiet impressed with our initial meeting to discuss our needs with a very pleasant lady called Katie, we decided to go ahead with the work. This would take 4 days maybe a little sooner
she informed us.
The team of two started work on the 3rd February 2026.
The worked involved foil insulation on the rafters, removal of the old insulation, and laying of new insulation on the loft floor (as per contract).The foil insulation in itself was very time consuming, as its quite a large low pitched roof with many cross beams and would mean a lot of patch work, as its not clear runs of the sheets of foil. This took them 2 days and as far as we could tell looked good.
On the 3rd day I myself had to go out, returning later in the afternoon, and fully expected the team to still be here. On return my husband said they were all finished and gone. This surprised me, with what was left to do. He was only able to go to the top of the ladder being 81 in age and as far as he could tell from a forward view it looked fine. The following day I had to go into the loft, and I can go right into the loft. The first thing I saw was a whole strip that had been completely left with the old insulation there and no new insulation laid on that complete strip. On closer inspection of the new insulation saw that the old Insulation was still there and had not been removed (as per contract) only flattened and the new shoved on top!!
My husband immediately phoned the office, and was told this will be passed onto the operations manager. We had a call from him eventually on 10th February, and after a second call, once he had understood that the old insulation had not been removed, he said he would phone back on 11th February am. We are now23nd February and as yet have heard nothing, to say how they intend to put this right! To say we are not very happy is an understatement, and certainly not the professionalism we expected!!

Two very pleasant lads turned up on time, removed very old insulation, sprayed loft with a biocide treatment to loft area and fitted new insulation. Very quick and tidy no mess left as they also hoovered up when finished, couldn’t ask for more. 👍👍

In terms of noticeable benefit, insulation improvements can sometimes be less immediately obvious and may depend on external temperatures and heating use. The work carried out was designed to improve the loft’s thermal performance and ventilation, as well as protect the space longer term.

Perfect job
Came exactly when stated. Told me names of all the people coming. Very safety conscious for me as well as themselves.
Wonderful team of men. So nice and friendly and they worked so hard.
Immaculate job and when I went up to look they explained how it all worked.
No mess anywhere. They covered all areas of my carpet where they would be walking so they left everywhere perfectly clean.
Definitely noticed the difference.so glad I had it done....worth every penny
