My company use World Options for all our domestic and international shipments. 90% of our goods are exports which can create various issues with different countries, or various booking out/delivery procedures.
Both Louise and Connor are absolute stars at handling every obscure issue in a super fast polite and friendly manner.
I cannot recommend them highly enough.
When running a busy business, any delays is valuable lost time which these guys are masters of saving by their rapid resolving of anything I throw at them. 10/10 and a credit to World Options UK.

BHG Marine have been using World Options for several years and the whole company is a breath of fresh air in a very saturated market.
Their portal is the best out there, offering clear time frames and transparent pricing from various companies. The prices quoted always match the invoiced prices.
Their customer service is also exceptional, a special mention to Antonia Holden who is a pleasure to deal with. I very rarely have to approach them as their customs document upload feature is pretty much full proof but when there is an issue they're so efficient, polite and easy to contact.
If you're looking for the most simple and affordable way to ship abroad World Options is the best out there.

We, as iACS, have been working with WorldOptions for several years and their customer service has been exceptional. Their portal is very easy to work with and international shipments are booked swiftly. If anything happens with a delivery we are always notified in good time and the issue is resolved quickly.

Incompetence
Twice now Fedex have failed to collect international customs charges from the consignees.
World Options now chase us for Fedex' incompetence and expect us to pay VAT on behalf of the customer, as they didn't collect at pre-delivery.
What is the point of exporting goods, if we have to pay the receivers duty too?

We understand how disheartening it is to face unexpected charges, especially when you have fulfilled your side of the export process. It is certainly not the experience we want for our clients when using our partner carriers.
While World Options acts as the interface between your business and carriers like FedEx, we recognise that discrepancies in duty and tax collection at the destination can create significant hurdles for UK exporters. When a carrier fails to collect from the consignee, these charges often default back to the shipper, but we understand that this feels like being penalised for an error outside of your control.
We would like to investigate these two specific instances with FedEx on your behalf to see why the "Bill Consignee" instruction was not successfully executed.
Please contact your dedicated account manager with the tracking numbers for these shipments so we can look into this further for you.

We completely understand your concern regarding data privacy and your preference not to share additional personal information. Please be assured that we take compliance with the Telephone Preference Service (TPS) very seriously, and we aim to cross-reference all our outreach lists against it to avoid exactly this situation.
The reason we typically ask for a phone number or company name is simply to identify the specific record in our database so we can mark it for permanent removal, ensuring you are never contacted by any of our offices again. Without this, it can be difficult to pinpoint which of our regional branches or systems may have your details on file.
However, we hear your concerns loud and clear. We will immediately raise this with our internal data and compliance teams to conduct a fresh audit of our records against the current TPS lists to prevent further unsolicited contact.
Please feel free to contact your local Information Commissioner’s Office if you feel we have not met the required standards, but we are committed to resolving this for you.

One star is too many
One star is too many. Do little to help when things go wrong and indicate it is either the sender or recipients problem. 4 consignments sent to USA. 4 all with unacceptable issues.

***Warning*** Never do business with this company!
When getting billed 8/10 times there were various reasons the bill was higher then originally quoted (mostly around 20% and sometimes up to 40%!!!) with strange costs which made no sense and they could never really explain. And no, these were not things duties and taxes or due to wrong measuring the parcels, but weird charges like "admin fees" while when shipping with the actual carriers these charges were never applied at this volume or height of costs. When trying to get claims credited from losts or damaged shipments they claimed it was their policy to not credit those to our account even though there are no outstanding invoices. When replying that it was nowhere in their policy and not even legal by law all of a sudden nothing was mentioned but then they were trying to find other ways to get out of sending us that credit. Not even speaking on the rudeness, arrogance and flatout horrible manners in communication from their employees. Stay clear of them and find another solution, in the long run it will safe you money and a lot of headacke.

Every time there is an issue, then you find out how bad they are
Every time there is an issue, that's when you know how good these people are. They ignore over and over again for days on end when they just don't want to deal with issues. This is not the first time its happened and now I've decided to leave a bad review as the customer service is terrible.
This latest issue has been ongoing since 8th Oct 2025 and now they just ignore requests for updates
They will blame UPS but if its UPS, then why cant they say this?

Fine until things go wrong
I was approached by World Options and moved our account to them. But am finding that they are totally unhelpful when things to wrong.
I don't use them a lot but at the moment i have several issues on my account - long standing issues - which they fail to fix.
£173 claim via Fedex for a consignment they wrote off in USA - June 2025 insured still not paid is the insurance worth anything as Fedex won't deal with me direct. Is the insurance actually valid - I receive no copies of any documation regarding this claim and chase it every other week but get nowhere.
£183 charged to me for a delivery to Germany allegedly for local charges - this was paid by my customer, evidence of this has been provided multiple times, but still on my account.
Some invoices are more than the quotation so I have disputed them.
I am no told my account will be on hold if I don't pay.
