Defective Series 1
This company has always been very fast and swift with delivery, however when my Series 1 malfunctioned and stopped working, for some reason my customer service contact went to their US department rather than UK. After a few days this was quickly rectified and redirected towards the UK OMURA. Customer service agent Rocky had said previously that he had sent a replacement series 1 my way ASAP with a few extra goodies included.
Fast forward 2 weeks and still nothing, not even any tracking. I had Contacted Omura and Rocky numerous times via email and the online contact form etc. I was on the verge of never using this company again and giving it a 1 star rating.
HOWEVER, Rocky from customer service after taking annual leave had finally gotten back to me personally and very swiftly regarding how I had never received the replacement order. I could tell he felt very bad for me and was profusely apologetic on his return back to his post once he realised I had never gotten the replacement. Upon the realisation, not only did he send me a new replacement with tracking which I have now had confirmation for via email and SHOP link, but he has also upgraded me to the series X (and in the colour I wanted the most without even asking him funnily enough) and he also threw in more extra goodies as an apology. He wasn’t sure why I never received the first replacement parcel (or the fact it was never sent out) but he has been very swift in not only upgrading me to the newer model that has no defects, but throwing in extra stuff as a goodwill gesture as well as profusely apologising. It’s not his fault if something had been missed by other customer service reps whilst he was away, but I do greatly appreciate how fast he responded once back and rectifying the situation ASAP.
I was only persistent as these types of vaporisers are so easy to use for someone like me who doesn’t like the hassle of having to regularly clean them, and how easy they can be taken on the go.
Thank you again Rocky, and thank you again for finally correcting this issue. This has saved my faith in this company and I will now continue to remain a regular customer.
