The worse hair dye ever used it for 20 mins even tho says 10 minutes . I don’t know how this company still surviving

Tried controle gx beard dye, even after several applications there wasn't any difference to my grey this is one product to avoid as it clearly doesn't work.

Simply the WORST & product should be removed from sale

This awful product left me with serious facial burns in 2018, it took me months to recover. The heads of this company should be in prison, period. I've only heard horror stories from anyone who has used it. This company is disgusting, and this product should be taken off the market immediately.

I used this on my goatee and oh my god! My face still feels like it’s melting away. Red swollen face with oozing blisters and (probably) permanent scars. The itching & pain are so severe, it’s impossible to sleep. The only thing that’s getting me through is to cover my face in Vaseline. Please for the love of god, don’t use it, it really should be banned and the company made accountable.

I don’t want to give them even 1 star but no other option

This product should be banned . Followed instructions, and my face has got so sore and red that I've not slept for days . Its as if its scalded my skin ,and made my beard brittle.

I used the beard and Hair , but latley it turns grey in couple days!!! And Its not cheap ! I quit!

I have been using Just for Men hair dye, light brown for few years now as my hair has turned grey especially around the sides of the head. Used the dye yesterday following the usual instructions, 5 minutes then rinse and shampoo. My hair isn't light brown, it's not even medium brown; it is dark brown! Totally not the colour I was expecting and I am very disappointed. Have they changed the substance of the dye? Now I can't trust that what it says on the package is what you get. After being a long time customer of Just for Men, I regret that I will have to find an alternative brand to dye my hair from now on.

Il 20/06/2025 ho comprato e €. 6,90 (quindi nemmeno economico a mio parere) il Colorante in Gel castano scuro, il colore ha funzionato ma i problemi sono venuti dopo, dopo l'applicazione cosi come scritto sulle istruzioni che a mio avviso sono poco chiare, ho fatto ovviamente doccia e shampoo, il mattino mi sveglio e mi è venuto un colpo, il cuscino era completamente tinto di marrone!!! cosa che non mi è capitata con altro colorante in gel "pagato addirittura solo €. 1,90" e non cito il nome, altrimenti pensate che voglia fare cattiva pubbilicità!
Inoltre, altra nota negativa, il prodotto una volta mischiato, conviene consumarlo tutto, altrimenti troverete una colata lavica, e sulle istruzioni non c'è nessun avviso a riguardo!!!

I have used this product for years with really good results. Then a few months ago I experienced what I can only describe as severe irritation, almost like a burn, on the skin in the areas I used the product (sideburns and small area above ears). After the "burn" subsided, the skin remained irritated and flaky for weeks. I have never had this before, so thought that maybe it was some other issue that happened to occur at the same time I used the product. I tried the product again and experienced the same terrible result, so I sent an email to Just for Men telling them about my horrible experience. They contacted me by phone and asked an excessive amount of questions, almost as if they were building a case against me in case I filed a law suit against them. I actually told the person on the phone that I wouldn't answer any further questions because their questions felt legal in nature. Finally I was told that they would refund me for the product I used and any others I had purchased and could no longer use.

I was told that they would be sending me a check in the mail, and that it would arrive in 4-6 weeks. I waited for 6-weeks and when no check arrived, I contacted them again. I was told their checking system had changed and they were having problems issuing checks, but that I would be getting my check when their system was running properly again...10-weeks on and still no check. When I contacted them yet again, I recieved the same "we have no update on when you will get your check, but we appreciate your patience."

I don't believe they have any intention of ever sending the promised check and they hope I will simply give up. I feel I have been lied to and that they know their product is causing many people health issues. Terrible experiece overall

Gives a noticeable purple tinge to my hair, which people have commented on.
Hardly makes much difference to the grey anyway.
There is no way I can see of contacting their customer service.

NO RESPONSE - CHANGED FORMULA - BURNT SKIN
I've been using Just For Men for 7 years and loved the results. I don't have a history of skin conditions. Have you changed the formula? Since February 2024, the dye has been burning the skin under my beard, I follow the instructions religiously and for days afterwards, my beard/skin is so itchy, I’ve been using Aveeno baby cream to calm the symptoms and take antihistamines to reduce the irritability…. However, it struck me yesterday, have Just for Men changed the ingredients or chemical formula? This is a genuine question. I rely on your product, cannot find an alternative (I’ve tried other products and the results are awful) and wondered if by, writing this message, someone in the company would read the feedback and resole the matter. I love my beard, I want to keep the colour, however, it’s become almost painful to use your product.

Probably the worst men's color product I've ever used for beard.

Ho comprato il ControlGX shampoo e, dopo un mese di utilizzo, a parte avermi colorato una volta le unghie, non ha avuto per niente l'effetto promesso. Soldi buttati. Non lo consiglio.

After 1 hour application no effect what so ever, it's just a over priced hyped up brand and a piles of rubbish.
Never again I will spend my money on this.

Having found that Just4Men hair colour permanently stains everything it touches except hair, I tried their GX shampoo. After following their instructions exactly, I can say that, for me at least, this product is completely useless.

I have been using the beard dye for five years, the colours shading vary a lot even though you buy the same colour each time. I usually buy in bulk as have to use it frequently. I had three batches of developers ready to explode in the packaging, i contacted them to ask for replacements they did reply and i gave them the information needed not replaced or responded.
out of pocket by £27. It looks like loyalty means nothing i will source another brand/manufacturer.

Something has changed! Been using for 10 years with no issues. All of a sudden the coverage is rubbish. My beard is now very patchy. I covered it fully this time and then some and washed off and still bloody patchy. I will not be using again. Hair dye no issues. Think next time il put the hair dye in my beard and see how that goes. After that il
Be changing product as its now rubbish and not fit for purpose.
