WARNING that they say VAT is included... then it turns up via UPS and UPS ask you to pay the VAT.... AVOID at all costs.... scammers!

I selected an item to slash, it was a laser cutter/engraver. The page states, select product and slash, invite friends to slash, buy it for the slashed price. The original price was £758.18, with family and friends help it reached £141.65. At the end of the countdown the message "sorry this bargain has failed" appeared. If the goal is to reach £0 this should be made clear.

This is one of, if not THE BEST online shopping experiences out there. Everything is laid out nice and very clear. Prices, shipping fees etc. They’ve even now got the option to split bigger purchases into 3 interest free payments through Klarna.

After-sales is excellent, 3 days after making my claim (inc over weekend) the item was confirmed defective and Banggood have reshipped my item.

Simple and fuss free company who have a strong customer value.

Return process is impossible and pointless, given other reviewers' experiences.

You have ordered 2 items, and you will only receive one? Banggood doesn't want to know and will never compensate you. They are thieves!
If you order this will be at your own risk. No compensation even with an optional package insurance on the site, nor with the (fake!!!) "Paypal buyer protection". Money loss !!!
Run away and order from aliexpress.com which are much more serious

There are several banggood listings, but I suspect they're all the same. And as such, to be sure that people out there know, I'll post here too to reach others who might otherwise miss my personal experience; and help them avoid disappointment, agro and lost money.

I ordered from these guys twice. The first time, it was something simple. It showed up, worked and I was happy with the item. I read several reviews, including here; they seemed "kosher." (I now think the positive reviews are plants and have pointed such out to Trustpilot.)

I then ordered 2 laptops, 6 weeks before Christmas. 3 weeks before, I checked to get the shipping info only to find that they had not shipped. The machines eventually arrived in Feb.

Of the 2 machines, one had a defective audio out and video out (HDMI) port. I know that they should work, and that I was "using" them right because I had a 2nd machine to try such on.

I complained; they told me to look for a local company to fix. After 3 weeks, running around and phone calls, I gave up - nobody would touch it. So they advised to ship such back (note I'd already paid the import duty).

They got back the machine and then told me, I had to pay for the repair. I complained. After a month, they relented and said I wouldn't have to pay.

It's been months; the machine is still with the "supplier" (I guess) and I cannot get any information except for "the machine was sent for repairation [sic]".

I've now had to buy another machine as I couldn't wait any longer (it's not 10 months since we started this transaction). Still I get no joy.

While the price seems good, you're playing dice and the odds are stacked in Banggood's favour. If they wanted to, they could be responsive. They choose to act dumb; as such, I'd steer clear unless your masochistic.
