Signed up and did the qualification test but there was an issue with the recorder. Customer service have no interest in helping despite the fact this is clearly their issue, not mine. I have never had problems like this on any other user testing websites.

Doing some research online I found a lot of other people have glitches with this site which leads to them not getting paid. I also discovered the site offers some of the lowest payouts and highest test times compared to other similar websites, so it may be a blessing that it broke for me so early on. 100% not worth the hassle.

You'll spend an hour on a test only to get rejected no matter how perfect your upload is. I have no evidence, but I 100% believe they do this so they don't have to pay you while they give your test to the customer and bill them accordingly. I've done 100s of these kinds of tests on multiple platforms and have a perfect rating on all of them and never rejected once, so Trymata is full of it. Stay away, it's nothing but a scam. Anyone claiming otherwise works for them. Garbage.

DO NOT USE TIS COMPANY. They will make up any lie to refuse to pay you for test then continue to send you test in hopes that you'll continue to do tests and work for free. TOTAL SCAM.

They do not pay you, simple as that. I have completed 2 separate tests supposed to be paid within a few days, it has been over 3 months and nothing. When I message them they just say "Sorry we are having delays with payments at the moment". Don't waste your time.

They make up reasons not to pay you don't waste your time. There are plenty of legit reviews they just aren't one of them

AVOID THIS SITE AT ALL COSTS! $5 for 30 minutes or $10 for 60 minutes is not worth your time. On top of that they’ll most likely reject your test giving any silly reason they can. Seems like they are just scamming their testers.

Not only did they cut back payment from $10 to $5 for unmoderated tests, but now they will lie about payment you receive for live conversations as well. I signed up to be paid $30 for a live conversation and then ended up getting a PayPal payment from them for $15. Are you guys kidding me? What a shady company with truly unethical people running it. I would advise staying away from this company and never providing feedback for them.

As a long time tester with Trymata I always felt they were the worst in every aspect but continued to test as I needed the additional supplementary income given our current economy where I live. Many know by now they recently cut their payouts in half (from $10 for 20 and 30 minute tests to $5 for either). not a gradual reduction. HALVED from one day to the next. The worst part about it is they made the announcement on July 12th but backdated it saying "As of July 1st 20 and 30 minute tests will now pay $5 and 60 minute tests $10. This makes them the lowest usability testing site in terms of payment. Worst customer support by far (I am active with about 11 other Usability testing sites and have been doing this for well over a year). They find any little reason possible to reject tests, their recording software is by far the worst and most outdated. No joke it literally looks like it was created in the windows 95 days. I highly urge any companies thinking about what platform to use to test their websites/prototypes to stay far away. Ever since they rebranded from TryMyUi to Trymata they steadily went downhill. It feels as if they are losing money fast and squeezing every dollar they can out of the testers. The ones who keep their site afloat. No more. There are many active community posts/threads/forums that will confirm all of this. They lied and blamed PayPal for tests well over 30 days beyond their standard 2-3 business day payment time then changed their story completely. They then promised a $10 bonus payment for all their screw-up's and 5 weeks later still havent payed. Please stay away. Do not test with this company. It will only lead to other companies thinking they can get away with the same. They basically frauded and stole from their testers. I truly don't believe any company deserves a 1 star review...but in this case..i'd give a 0 if I could. Absolute WORST!

I completed 6 tests for Trymata formerly a TrymyUI weeks ago. I was informed via email after the completion of each test I would be paid in 3 days. When that didn’t happen I reached out to their support team and received a prompt response. I was told there was a problem with PayPal and that I’d be paid on 7/7. That date came and went with no payment. On 7/10 I received a small payment, less than half of I was owed. I have now reached out to support multiple times with no response. This business draws people in with the promise of quick payments for following their strict guidelines but they clearly no respect or loyalty for their testers who follow those guidelines. I would not encourage anyone to test through them.

The site was fine for ahwile but right now they are ignoring multiple peoples emails about payments and supports is unresponsive. I did a post around June 21st and they said payment will come through July 7th.

Guess what it's July 9th I have not been paid and they are ignoring me.

Usertesting is way better at least they pay you there.
