Great service all round
Great service all round. Meat arrived on time, well packaged. Had the beef ribs last night and they were very good quality, pork ribs look huge. Will definitely order again.

rindless cubed pork belly…Not even close!
Ordered some rindless cubed pork belly for a family event this weekend…needless to say it was neither rindless or cubed as described. There was thick rind and what can only be described as offcuts ranging from 2 inch squares and other large strange shapes. Very disappointed considering the quality we usually receive from here. Never again!

Hi Isabel, I'm sorry you've had an issue with your order. As I noted on your invoice, we did our best to remove all the fat from your items, but it isn't always possible I'm afraid. Especially on products such as lamb steaks, as there is often internal fat, which holds the meat together. Removing it would cause the meat to fall apart and your steaks would end up in pieces. I assume you won't be back to order from us, but going forward, if you want pork steaks without any fat at all, I would suggest ordering something like 'Pork Medallions' as I think these would suit your needs. Good meat. My only quibble is the MSG in the chicken sausage, which I can't tolerate.---(should have looked at the small print !)

Love this family run company - you can tell when companies care about their products and what they do and with TrueBites you can. The meat is delicious, healthier than store bought and so easy to buy with such fast delivery all over the UK. So impressed and will continue to buy from here.

Considerable decline in quality and sneaky portions weighing
Second time I ordered from Truebites, as first order was quite good. Typically what happens with these meat delivery companies is they always try to make a good impression at first and then decline in quality over time. Surprisingly this started happening as soon as the second order, which is quite concerning. Noticeable decline in quality and found bones in the mince. Also, worth mentioning that you pay for plastic at the same price as the meat, as they weigh their portions already inside the package - please verify yourselves as I did when my delivery arrived.

Hi Bruno, I'm sorry you seem to have had an issue with your delivery. I can assure you we certainly don't purposely aim for a decline in quality. That's just not the way we work here. We aim to give every product and order our best, as we really do care about what we do. We aren't even aware which products we're producing are for which customers when we're butchering, as we do all the items for each day together. Anyway, I apologise that you found some bone in your mince, we prepare the meat for mincing by hand and obviously aim to remove any bone/gristle etc, but appear to have missed some on this occasion. We're only a small team, and don't always get it right, so I'm sorry about that. In regards to the weight, we actually pack to an average weight rule (that's what the 'e' means on the label). This is because it's very difficult for us to hand cut and pack every item to the exact weight, so sometimes items maybe a touch heavy or a touch light within specific tolerances. We obviously aim to get it right every time, but we are only human. Having said that, we obviously will take your feedback on board and do our best to improve going forward.
