My experience with Trolley has been nothing short of a nightmare. As a seller on ArtStation, my account (along with many others facing the same issue) is now at risk of being deleted because ArtStation has partnered with Trolley to process payments. The problem? Trolley’s identity verification process is fundamentally broken, making it impossible to complete the necessary steps to receive payments.
Here’s what I’ve encountered:
1. Verification Process Is Unworkable: Despite submitting multiple valid government-issued documents (including my national passport, driver’s license, and others), the system repeatedly fails to verify them. It outright rejects legitimate documents in non-English languages and does not allow for re-submission or additional supporting documents.
2. No Support for Alternative Address Verification: Trolley does not accept widely recognized documents like bank statements or utility bills to verify an address. This limitation is unacceptable when government-issued documents often don’t meet their overly rigid and poorly thought-out criteria.
3. System Blocks After Failed Attempts: Each time a document is rejected, the verification form becomes locked, preventing me from attempting again. This effectively leaves users stuck with no way forward.
4. No Flexibility or Manual Review: Despite repeated attempts to resolve this with customer support, there is no option for a manual verification process to address edge cases like mine.
As a result, my ability to receive payments for my hard work is jeopardized. Trolley’s inability to handle basic identity verification not only risks my livelihood but also undermines the trust ArtStation sellers have in their platform.
I strongly urge ArtStation and other platforms to reconsider their partnership with Trolley. If you’re considering using Trolley for payment processing, think twice—they are simply not equipped to handle the complexities of global identity verification.
Avoid this service at all costs unless they drastically improve their processes and provide real support for users.

Development-wise it was straightforward to integrate and use. Works well by doing payouts via Direct Deposit all over the world, and PayPal too.

Payment Rails has allowed our platform to pay users weekly and conveniently. They have also added features on their system that we have recommended.
Overall great customer service (Myles) and quick replies. Some errors were made when providing the fx rate for the day, but they were resolved quickly. We do a lot of business with Payment rails on a daily basis and very much appreciate that we can trust them as our partner.
Fantastic customer service! The dashboard is straightforward and easy to use and the time it takes to process payments is almost immediate. Coming from another payment processing service with slow timing all around (service, payments) and a confusing interface, Payment Rails is like a dream!!
