All the guides they provided us with were excellent; the guides gave us a tour which we normally never would have been able to do ourselves. Quick Japan tour
Enjoyed Kyoto and immersive Japanese experience in Nanten. Cities are huge compared to NZ so takes a bit of getting used to, especially the crowds. The Japanese should be immensely proud of their tidy cities, felt extremely safe. Next time I would look to go to the more rural scenic regions.

We had a 3 weeks tour to Japan organized by "Trip To Japan". It was really a pleasure dealing with this company.
Every thing we asked for was catered for. All the suggestions for what to do on the trip and where to go were brilliant. The itinerary was put on our cell phone and was easy to follow. Location of hotels were fantastic (very important in Japan). This company knows Japan very well, very reasonably priced and they really know how to make your trip very enjoyable and hassle free. Trip To Japan was perfect! They worked with me and my wife to construct that absolutely best itinerary, excellent hotels, great restaurant suggestions, etc. But most important, they were there on the ground, in real time, whenever we needed help with train schedules, or complicated reservations.

Lovely easy evening ride around the city. …
I signed up because I just wanted a light bus trip thru the evening night in Tokyo. To my great surprise it also included a stop at Tokyo Tower and a ride up to the viewing platform, which was a great treat. It was a lovely way to see a bit of Tokyo that you don't see when you are dragging yourself on the sidewalks and trains, so highly recommended. The guide only spoke Japanese and I was the only non-Japanese speaker on the bus but she made a lot of effort to make sure I knew when to meet back at the bus from the Tower climb. Oh, and forgot to mention that the guide sang us a very beautiful song while we were gliding along in the fresh night air.

The booking process was very unclear
The booking process was very unclear. You’re not actually getting a ticket to the class/event right away, but they’ll ‘try’ to get you into the class. Once they succeed they then capture the payment.
They were nice, but there was a lot of unnecessary stress in arranging what should have been an easy booking. Lots of emails going back and forth while we were on a holiday.
We got there in the end and had a great experience.

Great tour
Very well organised tour. Our only issue was finding pickup area at Kyoto station. Instructions had 3 areas listed which weren’t near each other. We enjoyed our day overall. The cruise on the river was great.
