Terrible Experience


Terrible Experience - Stay Away!

I purchased tickets for Hagia Sophia from Tripening, and when I arrived at the venue, I was told my tickets were invalid. I tried contacting their customer support via phone and email for assistance, but there was absolutely no response. No one helped or followed up. It was incredibly frustrating and disappointing! I strongly recommend avoiding Tripening — their lack of support and accountability ruined my trip. Save yourself the hassle and buy tickets elsewhere!

Tripening Assistance

I have been scammed, I booked through tripening, an 11 night hotel in the UK, but the hotel had no knowledge of the reservation!!! I prepaid almost $1300. Unfortunately I became critically ill and had to cancel my trip, I contacted the hotel but they had no knowledge of the reservation. I have been trying to contact tripening, but you cannot find a decent link for them. I also emailed them at info@tripening but got no response. I am disgusted, not only did I miss out on visiting my family due to illness but now I have lost my $1300 bucks to a scam travel site.

After speaking with "John" at Tripening, who called me personally, he stated he would try to resolve this issue by personally working with the hotel and providing with a refund. The problem it seems if that I was never given the actual confirmation for the hotel booking until John and I had a conversation, he states the hotel had the confirmation all along, but I was not given that information, I was given other booking numbers but nothing that corresponded with the hotel therefore they could not issue me a refund directly as they had no knowledge of my booking. Now that "John" and I have spoken, he has reassured me that he is working diligently to secure my refund and that hopefully we can put this behind us and that I can trust in this company going forward, and feel confident that I can use the service again for future travel plans.

After looking into your reservation, we can confirm that the hotel did receive the booking, and we even provided the official hotel confirmation number during our follow-up communication. We understand, however, that there may have been confusion at the property or miscommunication, which we deeply regret.

Although your reservation was non-refundable and we weren’t contacted until after your intended stay, we are actively working with the hotel and doing everything we can to secure a refund for you regardless of the policy.

Your situation is not lost on us, and we understand how disappointing this entire experience must have been. We appreciate your patience as we continue to resolve this and will be following up with you directly as soon as we have an update.
