What does it mean for students? Students have an international awarding body which is also backed by the UK government. For your reassurance, you can look it up on the gov.uk qualification listings. When you qualify, you will have the peace of mind that your qualification has been quality assured by ITEC and the Certificate gives you the right to call yourself an accredited Trichologist. Which means you can apply to the ART (Association of Registered Trichologists) membership and work as a qualified Trichologist with a code of ethics.

The course was very thorough and a better experience than a previous Trichology course that I have completed. As a hairdresser with a strong interest…
As a hairdresser with a strong interest in trichology, this course was a fantastic opportunity to expand my knowledge of hair and scalp health. Most of my previous training has been face-to-face, so this was my first fully online course, and it worked really well for balancing work and personal life.
The study materials were clear, informative, and easy to follow. The support from tutors, mentors, and the student care team was excellent throughout. I also really valued the student WhatsApp group for sharing tips and support.

What a fantastic learning journey!
I qualified with the TrichoCare Education team only 2 weeks ago. I had the pleasure of meeting some of the team at the last Conference , within the House of Lords - London only a few days later. What a fantastic day to celebrate my qualifying! I would highly recommend TrichoCare education for the Level 4 Trichology course. It took me some time to complete as I had a few personal hurdles to jump within my course study time frame. My Tutor Keith and mentor were very helpful and understanding/supportive and keeped me on track and focused on my learning journey. Jackie was always at the end of the phone for any learning or technical support too. There were also things I could attend to support my on-line based academic learning. I have been to 2 conferences where we were able to learn more about nutrition with Charlotte Lucas - Nutritionist, skin complaints with John English - Consultant Dermatologist and chemicals in products with David Basketter. It all supported my learning journey. Litmos, the learning platform is easy to navigate online and the Zoom meetings and assessments were fantastic. Not scary but supportive and easy to set up. I was so pleased to come out with an accredited qualification that could be undertaken in my own time and around running my hairdressing business full time and family commitments. I found the Litmos app on my phone quite a key to studying on the move, with my hectic lifestyle. Thank you to all the team and extended help from people within the ART. I feel ready for my next career chapter!

I absolutely loved my time studying with TrichoCare! The course was packed with in-depth, practical information that’s completely changed the way I work, creating a new path way for my brand.
My tutor, Keith, was amazing. So knowledgeable and supportive, always giving really helpful feedback and guiding me to create a clear understanding of my consultation process.
Even though I was on the other side of the world (and sitting some exams at 3am!), the team were incredibly accommodating. They went out of their way to schedule things around my time zone and made the whole process feel smooth and supported.

I recently completed my Certificate IV in Trichology through Trichocare, and I couldn’t be more grateful for the experience. Living in Australia and starting the course with a one-year-old son, I was initially unsure how I’d manage study alongside motherhood and running my own business. The Trichocare online Level 4 Certificate course in Trichology is regulated by the ITEC awarding body and can be complete in your own time with a very supportive team.
Keith was my assigned tutor, and he was really supportive with zoom calls throughout
This course does not require you to visit a practical hands-on classroom with models, it is more academic and is designed to give you all the basic knowledge to become a professionally informed Trichologist, and add this to your practice.
It does however require a lot of self-dedication, and in this busy world we ca be faced with all sorts of issues knocking us off track but this course allows you to take the time off to deal with this and return when you can. All the information is there on the course platform to enable you to achieve your end goal and become a certified Trichologist.

Trichocare is the best place!
Studying trichology (in English) was slightly out of my comfortzone, however Keith and the team made sure i was prepared at all times and had all the right support i needed. It gave me so much more knowledge than i could've asked for and i'm looking forward to continuing my Trichology journey. It's 100% different to hairdressing though, so make sure it's something you're interested in as you really have to put in the hours.

After completing the level 4 Trichology course with Trichocare Education in July 24, I just wanted to share what an amazing experience it was, all of the course content is available online, the support from the team was incredible, independent study can be challenging but the course is designed really well to enable you to build on your knowledge from each module. I would highly recommend this course to any passionate hairdresser who wants to advance their knowledge in hair and scalp conditions/disorders. This course enables you to diagnose conditions and offer a number of solutions for those clients who as a hairdresser you just can’t help.

I recently completed the Level 4 Trichology course at Trichocare, and I couldn't be more thrilled with the experience. I chose the Trichocare course above others because of the recognised qualification you would achieve once passed.
The course itself requires a lot of self dedication but all the information is there on the course platform to enable you to achieve whats needed. You took the right approach Mike. Prospective learners should be wise to the major difference between a taking a Regulated qualification and "Accredited" or "Customised" qualifications.
Taking a regulated course provides guarantees in several areas:
- The certificate is recognised as having academic weight at a specific level.
- The course will provide clear pathway options for further study.
- Employers will recognise and look for employees who hold regulated qualifications
Regulated qualifications meet standardised criteria to ensure that the level, difficulty, and amount of work required to gain the qualification are similar across institutions and are mapped into the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF)
Accredited qualifications have the seal of approval from an independent accrediting body, for example, the CMI. The accreditation means that the body recognises the course content and learning outcomes as valuable and aligned with industry best practices.
