I have never been lied to so much. I placed my order in early May. Item didn't come but eventually I had an email stating problems with stock. I was given another date, however much to my surprise it never arrived. I emailed 3 times over a period of a month and all my emails were ignored. I called and was told some sob story about moving, I was given another date for delivery but again it never arrived, so I called again. This time I was told stock was just in and on the warehouse floor to be dispatched and will be with me by the end of the week, that 4 weeks ago, so yh it never arrived again. So I've called today to be told that they are having problems with stock, he went to look for my item and it's not in stock. If I want a refund I got to use my time to fill in a returns form to wait 5 days to get my money back. So after getting off the phone I thought I'd check their website and it allows you to order what I've ordered, but they got no stock 🤷 go figure.........

I would give this company 0 stars if I could.

I ordered goods from Train Direct and never received my order. Initially, their customer service team responded to my enquiries and assured me that the issue would be investigated and resolved. Unfortunately, after making those promises, they stopped responding altogether.

Repeated attempts to contact them regarding both the missing goods and a refund were simply ignored. With no meaningful communication or resolution from the company, I was left with no choice but to pursue a chargeback through my bank to recover my money.

This has been an extremely frustrating experience. A business that takes payment, fails to deliver goods, and then ignores customers when problems arise is not one I would recommend to anyone.

Avoid if possible. Based on my experience, this company should not still be trading. Terrible service, poor communication, and a complete lack of accountability. ⭐☆☆☆☆

I placed an order for a First Aid Instructor shirt and received an automated confirmation on 8 July 2026 stating that my order had been accepted.

After hearing nothing further, I sent a follow-up email on 21 July requesting an update, but received no response. I then decided to call on 23 July to find out what was happening. I was told I would receive a callback within 10 minutes while someone checked the stock and my order. That callback never came.

More than two hours later, I called again, only to be told, "Call back in 10 seconds, I can't transfer the call." At no point was I offered another callback, which I found very poor customer service.

I was eventually informed that the shirt was not in stock and that, due to staff leaving and changes in their processes, my order may have been overlooked. I was told they could get the shirt to me the following week. Given the lack of communication, the broken promise of a callback, and the delay, I asked whether any goodwill gesture, such as compensation or a complimentary shirt, could be offered.

I also commented that poor customer service tends to spread by word of mouth. This was not intended as a threat—it was simply an observation. However, the member of staff chose to escalate my comments as though they were threatening and, in my opinion, became unnecessarily rude during the conversation.

I've dealt with this company before and previously had no issues, but unfortunately the standard of customer service has declined significantly. I've now requested a full refund by email and will wait to see whether that email is acknowledged.

This has been a very disappointing experience, not because of the stock issue itself, but because of the complete lack of communication and the way my concerns were handled.

I previously wrote a review regarding my experience. I placed my order on 31st May for 2 pairs of trousers and I still haven’t received them. Ive email 3 times and also called and spoken with one of the team who advised me they would email me with an update of my order to which I am still waiting… I had to take the decision to go through my bank for a chargeback because they still did not reply to my email regarding a refund. Disgusting customer service, I would recommend buying from somewhere else

Attempted to order uniforms and vest. Reached out via email multiple times to no avail. Also ordered on the website and it just sat order confirmed with no follow up.

Ordered an item from the company and it failed to arrived. Emailed for an updated with no reply. Followed up with 2 phone calls, always promised a call back but never received. Eventually spoke with someone and arranged a refund which has not been received yet, nor has a reply to a further follow up email.

Do Not Use

I placed an order for 4 polo shirts on 29/03/2026 and, over six weeks later, I have still received nothing.

During this time, I have contacted Traindirect multiple times on 0330 223 5596 and have been given a different excuse on almost every occasion — told items would be sent “by the end of the week”, then “by the end of next week”, then “definitely by Friday”. I was also told delays were due to illness, being away, and even being on holiday, yet no actual progress was made.

My latest call was particularly disappointing. A female answered stating she was not from Traindirect but would ask someone to call me back, before passing me to someone else who repeated the same promise that someone would contact me. Once again, no resolution.

The frustrating part is that I have used this company many times before without any problems, which makes this experience even more disappointing. The lack of communication, repeated false promises, and complete failure to fulfil the order has been unacceptable.

Due to the continued delays and no clear resolution, I had no choice but to source the items elsewhere at additional cost to myself, meaning I am still left out of pocket because of this.

As I have now lost confidence that this order will ever be delivered, I have had no option but to start the process of reclaiming my money through my bank.

Sadly, based on this experience, I would not recommend using this company.

It was a great experience, effectively participate and learn by doing with equipment, which gives proper clarity. Trainer was quite experience and deeply explained the content.
It was amazing experience to be a part of training.

It was a amazing experience which we all practically did how to use it. Well traind..our trainer was well presented.

The training on PEG training was enlightening and the trainer took his time to explain.

The lads went above and beyond to help me get the right uniform and training details I needed. Booked onto the course now and my uniform is on its way for me passing. Can’t thank them enough!!!

Christopher was great at the Oliver McGowan training today!

Received inhouse emergency first aid at work training today as well as skin integrity and medication.
The course content was relevant and very informative. The trainer himself was very knowledgeable in the role and was able to answer all questions I had. Things had changed since last year and it was really interesting. I did a lot of practical training including tourniquet which was new to me!
I feel confident again in these areas.

Uniform Shop - Had a problem, they picked up the phone in seconds and were passionate about solving it, going beyond my expectations. I will definitely order again from them.

The course was laid out well for me to understand and retain information. Craig was easy to get on with and made the experience fun.

Great training with Craig! Would definitely recommend!
