Illegal telemarketing calls traced to this website
List so many other folks, I've been dealing with an illegal telemarketer problem, even though I'm on the FTC DNC list. This company is part of my problem.
Today's call was #576 since August 2023. Since they refuse to stop calling, often insulting and threatening me when I ask them to stop, I now play along to expose the criminal activities. Today's call was the same as all the others, a call center in Pakistan asked if I was in an accident in the past few years. I fed them fake info while one could hear others in the room pulling the same scam. They then transferred me stateside to a guy who identified himself as being with this company and website- I had him verify this a couple of times. I then informed him the facts about the illegal calls and he just hung up on me.
This call center has been calling posing as Government agencies, banks, cc companies, Medicare, and various businesses - typically in attempts to steal personal information. Now they are pulling this scam and still ignoring TCPA regulations and stop calling requests. Some of their call center’s calls have even been proven to be using spoofed caller IDs – a violation of the Truth in Caller ID act.
This site is also tied to several other sites such as TruckingAccident (using the com extension) and TaxDebtLawyer (using the net extension). No where do they list a location and when you try to call them to complain they just block your number, so it plays a recording stating call could not be connected. All of the calls were recorded as proof. I record all telemarketing calls and keep detailed logs. Their illegal call was also reported to the FTC and their carrier. The number they used to call was already flagged as a spam call, so it has a history of illegal telemarketing.
Call was recorded, including what happened when I called it back - so there is no denying what I have proof of.
