I ordered some Young Tartan material and it's arrived today.
I would certainly recommend this company without hesitation.

Be careful with this company. They are not entirely truthful with the advertising claims. First, the site claims that the kilts are Scottish made. When I pressed the customer service chat with what that actually means is that some of the fabric is made in Scotland and the kilts are constructed in Pakistan. This leads to the second issue. The "expedited" shipping has caveats. The website claims you will receive your purchases 7-10 from purchase. That does not include the 5 days to "prepare" and 2 days to "process". International shipping takes another 5 days. So it's actually around 20-30 days. I can't find any solid information on their site that explains what the "expedited" shipping means. I paid an extra $25 for it, however. Based on the tracking information, this product will arrive well after when it is needed.

I honestly would not care where the product is made, but if you say Made in Scotland, be in Scotland. I was excited to buy it because it was claimed to be made there. If they are made in Pakistan, say so. Don't mince wording. I will not buy here again.

UPDATE: 6/25/2026:

I stand corrected. There was an issue with the shipping, NOT Traditional Kilt. It only arrived 1 day later than expected. The quality of the product is undeniable. It is equal to or surpasses my other kilts purchased from other sites both domestic and not. I have already recommended them to others at our Highland games! Thanks again.

The quality and fit on my husband’s kilt suit are incredible. The communication and updates during the ordering process were great. We’re very pleased with our purchase.

The traditional shirt I ordered for my husband was too small. The people at Traditional replaced it with caring. They are so easy to work with. A fine company. And the shirt was very well made and lovely cotton. Just what we were looking for to wear with his kilt. Thank you "Traditional Kilt."

I initially bought a kilt from them, and I was really impressed with the quality, especially considering the price.
After that first positive experience, I decided to email asking if they could make me a pair of tartan trousers. They were quick to respond and ended up putting together a full package for me – a waistcoat, jacket, sporran, trousers, and a bow tie – for £190!
To be honest, I was a bit skeptical at first after doing some quick research on their company address, and what I saw on Google Maps didn't exactly fill me with confidence. However, they've gone above and beyond with both orders I've placed. The quality of the custom-made items, considering the price point, was surprisingly high. The customer service throughout both processes has also been consistently good.
I'll definitely order from them again in the future.

I had to order a kilt in the US army tartan colors. And when it arrived it was too long because I gave them the wrong measurements for length. So I messaged them and they responded and said they would fix the problem free of charge and I love the kilt It fits great and feels great and is great quality

I’ve used this company twice and I’m overwhelmed by the quality. I’m Scottish so it felt a little weird ordering from Pakistan (I recently discovered that there is a great interest in Scottish kilts and bagpipes there).
I cannot recommend them enough. Definitely a game changer when it comes to buying bespoke highlandwear.
I also had a double payment problem which they sorted almost instantly. Excellent customer service.

I was not happy with my purchase and returned the Kilt.
My return got to Pakistan, but vender said they never received the return. Now they will not refund me.

Comments for a leather kilt.
Great quality leather.

They reached out by email to clarify measurements (I forgot one of the measurements when ordering).

The kilt fit on me perfectly!

International delivery: I received the kilt 2 days ahead of planned date.

Only downside: the kilt was folded in a box. The leather was folded, so I had to work the leather a bit the following days to remove the fold mark.

I had issues with the product as delivered, the company replaced the product for me.

So I ordered a size 56 it probably came at a size 57 or a little bit bigger and then I ordered 25 in length it was 28 which was way too big I wound up completely taking the top band of The Kilt off removing the snaps cutting the top down 3 in and then reattaching the top band for some reason that tightened it up where it was supposed to be but made The Kilt about four and a half inches longer so I just trimmed the edge and resold it on the underside. Put the snaps back on and it fit great I had to move one pocket back more because after I did all that work to it the pocket was out of place. I'm not too happy with the way the fur was just sewn on there with no backing so you have the mesh of the backside of the fur it would have been nice to see that put into a seam instead of just putting it on afterwards it kind of seemed like an afterthought but I'll deal with it. Overall construction of the Kilt was quite nice all seems were nice and straight. I realize when you Mass produce things that mistakes can be made. But thankfully I have the skills and ability to fix it even though this was a big mishap I would still order from this company again.
