Tour Up in Europe Anmeldelser

We paid +$325 per person for a private guided tour of Sainte-Chapelle and the Conciergerie in September 2026. It was the worst experience of our trip.

The day before, Tour Up in Europe called and asked us to move our date, even though their own listing says bookings cannot be changed for any reason. We had limited time in Paris and declined.

The tour was no better. Our guide didn't know either site. No overview, no historical context, just scattered comments that were hard to follow, and no idea where Marie-Antoinette's cell was, which is central to the Conciergerie. We also waited in a long entry line at Sainte-Chapelle, on a private tour.

This isn't about one guide. Tour Up in Europe sold a premium private experience, then sent someone unprepared instead of telling us there was a problem. A self-guided audio tour would have taught us more for a fraction of the price. Book elsewhere.

It is one of the greatest way to organise your trip around Europe. Very flexible and thoughtful.

We spent the New Year’s holiday in France and this company helped us organizing a marvelous day trip to the Loire Valley. Extraordinary! All our family were very happy.
Recommend!

I booked a tour for I and my family with Tour up in Europe. I will give five stars to the experience. It was on point with management, professional guide and timing.

They organised a perfect honey moon trip for us around the Loire Valley
We enjoyed Elena the guide who is also the photographer
We felt very taken care of
Really recommend to habeba trio with this company especially if yoi have out of the ordinary request!

We had an amazing tour with Daniel - he was super informative at every site we went to. We had a private tour, saw many notable sites in Paris, learned a lot, and finished it off with the sparkling Eiffel Tower…. Simply beautiful! It was also super convenient with our driver dropping us off and picking us up easily from every site. Excellent private tour and highly recommended. Thank you Daniel and driver!!!

I am grateful to Tour Up Europe for organizing my tour to Giverny! Things are starting to blossom there now and I absolutely loved the Monet's house and gardens.... I recommend the Giverny Half-Day Private Tour!

Our tour to Loire was fantastic! We visited a couple of castles (including Château de Chambord, which looks like something out of a Disney movie), and they were absolutely stunning. Our guide Elen was super friendly, knew so much cool stuff, and explained everything in a way that didn’t feel like a boring history lecture—just interesting stories with some fun facts mixed in. The scenery is just unreal—rolling vineyards, little villages, and these epic old buildings everywhere. It really felt like stepping into another world. We ahd a wonderful time, thank you!

This tour was absolutely amazing! Visiting Monet’s house and gardens in Giverny felt like stepping straight into one of his paintings – it was so peaceful and beautiful. The guide shared such interesting and personal stories about his life and work that it felt like we got to know the artist himself. Then we headed to Versailles, and it completely blew me away – the palace is so grand, and hearing about Louis XIV’s reign made it all the more fascinating. The private transportation made everything super!!

Mavluid picked us up at the hotel and he drove us to Bruges first. Good driving and comfortable car for my husband and I. He was very informative and kept the tour on schedule without feeling rushed. Showed us places we would have not known about. Overall a great day trip but since we enjoy walking we would have preferred to skip the Ghent boat ride. But as Mavluid said, it is the easiest way to see the most sights in a short time. I think most people would appreciate a rest from walking though.

Our day trip to Bruges and Ghent with Mavluid was amazing! Mavluid was very friendly, knowledgeable, and communicative. We were able to see various places and churches as well as have some free time to explore. We had a wonderful time! Thanks Mavliud!

Our tour was fantastic! Mavliud led us expertly through the city, and he was very kind and social while doing so. I felt like I was being guided by a friend during the trip. Exceptional!

We had a great custom tour from Tour Up in Europe, with Mavliud as our guide and driver. He picked us up from our cruise ship at Zeebrugge, gave us a friendly, informative, and historical tour of the main sights in Bruges (as well as a few stops that we never would have found on our own), and then coordinated a side trip to the Netherlands to visit my mother's ancestral hometown. As this was a surprise side trip for my mother, Mavliud did a great job organizing and coordinating the day to preserve the surprise. He also ensured that we were back at the port in time for our cruise ship departure. Communication throughout the process of booking and planning the tour were excellent. Recommended to all!

Full day seeing the highlights of Bruges & Ghent. Mavliud, our driver and guide, was professional, courteous, and well informed. The communication before during and after booking was excellent.
Great day trip from Brussels if you don’t have a lot of time and want to see both Bruges & Ghent.

One of the best companies that knows how to organise custom tours in Europe with all the specific clients requirements! And ..they can adapt to any changes!
