The room was adequate. The coffee and tea etc in the room was fine. The surrounding views were magnificent. We had a late dinner, which was exceleent, but the helpings were too large.Watched the sky change as the sun set from the dining room. It was beautiful.
The service was not up to standard mainly due to the lack of sufficioent staff due to a wedding, althoug we were aware that there would be a wedding when we booked. We would book again but only if we could establish if there was not some large event or wedding etc at the same time..

Easy to use site, brought up a good range of places to stay, all the info required to make a choice and book it. We were not disappointed by the accomodation either; it was basic but comfortable, run by a very friendly family, just what we wanted. We had a very enjoyable, stress-free holiday in Edinburgh, in part due to our choice of accomodation. Thank you to all involved.

Bedroom with good views, large comfortable bed, clean, friendly. Good breakfast.

Not experienced a self service B&B before, fridge was noisey in the night even though it was in a cupboard. En-suite was nice lovely towels, could have done with a grab rail for safety. It was nice to be able to please ourselves but I do like a real cup of coffee served to me in the morning when I am in a guest house.

Breakfast mega 11/10 !!!!! Comfortable room and very clean, owner's friendly and helpful.

The hotel was nice but you failed to inform us that there would be scaffolding up at the windows which made the room very dark and to be honest opening your curtains to find painters at your window wasn't nice . Spoilt our privacy.

We stayed just one night because its location made it an ideal base for exploring the Peak District. The host was very friendly and excellent beer on tap.

The room was lovely, food was nice, everything was clean. We just felt that they could have been more welcoming. However, everything about our stay was very good and we would recommend to anybody.

I found 2 Crofts to be extremely comfortable. A wonderful king size bed and a great shower. The landlady was kind and considerate. I would certainly book here again if I was in the area.
