The painting's colors appear to be fairly accurate with respect to the original. That is key. (But I probably should have selected the version that didn't need a frame (so as to avoid having anomalous white sides, though a little of the painting is stretched over the edges.)

The framing was well done but the color and intensity of the giclee print was much more faded looking than any print I've ever seen including the picture on the website. Disappointed. I love this artwork and thought I'd treat myself spending more than I usually have.

Regarding the colors, I'd like to offer some context. Turner was a remarkably delicate and subtle painter, and this particular work is genuinely soft and muted in its original palette—those gentle, atmospheric tones are a hallmark of his style. The image on our website faithfully reflects the coloration of the original painting. Our reproductions are created to be true to the artist's actual work, not enhanced beyond it.
That said, I completely understand the desire for a more vibrant piece. If you'd like, I'd be happy to print a new version with boosted color intensity at no charge. Please know, however, that this would no longer be a faithful Turner reproduction, but rather an interpretation with enhanced saturation.

Thank you for your feedback, Dong. We use a satin-gloss varnish on our canvas prints - this is a deliberate choice grounded in oil painting tradition and how light interacts with pigments.
The original masterworks by Rembrandt, Caravaggio, and Monet were painted with pigments mixed with linseed oil (naturally glossy) and finished with a glossy protective varnish. This reflective surface creates the three-dimensional effect that gives oil paintings their characteristic depth, particularly in the dark tones. A matte finish would flatten this effect - dark areas would lose their richness and appear at the same visual weight as lighter areas, making the painting look two-dimensional.
That said, we understand reflection preferences are personal. If you'd like to discuss further, please feel free to contact us directly.

I ordered a framed print. It arrived efficiently and was packaged very well. I wasn’t completely happy with the plexiglass (I didn’t read about that detail) but Michael was very accommodating and addressed my concerns.

Speechless
I am speechless. This is the most high quality print I've ever purchased!!!! Not only are the details of high quality, the pigments are so vibrant without it looking completely different from the original. What I love most is the black sections are VERY black, this makes the colored areas stand out more. I am beyond happy with this print and the shipping only took 3 days. I will definitely be making more purchases from this company what a wonderful experience

The image that I ordered and received exceeded my expectations, it is really beautiful and impressive. The colors really jump off the canvas and make the painting vibrant and alive. I would definitely recommend this company and I plan to have more prints done in the future.
