Plz don’t go they are thickly telling to you we have the stylist and specialist but they are very drinker they don’t basic knowledge you can ask certificate they never show to you. They think people will trust them of they charge higher. Simple not worth for money.

Unfortunately I had to change my review, at my last appointment in December 2025 I was changed more as by the look of it my hairdresser added something for herself, it wasn’t much but this is not the point, the point is that it should be my decision if I would like to add something extra even before holidays or I should been asked if that’s ok and on reflection I think it wasn’t the first time, so I never returned

I’d give Toni & Guy in Romford zero stars if the option was there. I had my hair cut on 12th June, which was an appointment with an art director so a top hairstylist, well my hair is ineven, my layers are so short and starting at the top of my head, I hate hate hate my cut.
I took the appointment with the art director because they had no one else available and usually I see other stylist that don’t have the price tag attached nor the fancy job titles and have had the best cuts there. I look and feel ridiculous so much so I am avoiding work! I feel depressed with his cut. I went to see a stylist at another hair salon who could not believe my hair is uneven!!!! How does this happen. And she suggested I take photos and share with T&G which I have done, she also suggested that I just wait for the hair to grow out. I’ve been told by T&G I wont get a refund for this ridiculous hair cut which I paid a silly anmount for and suggested I go in to the branch??? Really what for? So the art director and I can have a full on fall out?
Absolutely awful customer service. After 30 years of T&G I will never return

Highly disappointed on result of toning my blonde hair. As no result. Other brands I’ve had instant results and more affordable.

For the price paid and results I’ve received. I will not be recommending this hair product.

Toni used to cut my hair in the 70’s (including my wedding day) and 80’s and I am delighted to say that his customer service ethos is carried on through their salon in Cambridge. Paolo was fantastic. He knew exactly what I wanted in a new hairstyle and was so attentive when cutting my hair, as I wish to donate it to The Little Princess Trust. I have to say Paolo and his team made me feel like a princess and that is exactly how I felt after seeing Toni…a million dollars! Thank you very much indeed.

Very disappointed with the service. I was charged ₹700 for a haircut and ₹350 for a beard trim, which is quite expensive for the quality provided. The haircut was not done properly and did not meet my expectations. I would advise customers to check the pricing and understand the service before proceeding. In my experience, it was not worth the money.

It’s nothing but rubbish. It lasts for at least 2 hours and ruins your hair. Do not buy their hair clay.

I went to have my hair done 4 weeks ago tomorrow on 9th May 2026 and the stylist called Ruby didn't do it correctly and I was disappointed I did tell her in the salon that day that I was unhappy she stated that they will rectify it for me and to just ring the salon back when I am ready I have rung the salon today being the 8th June 2026 and I spoke to Ruby on the phone to be told by her that there was a time frame that this had to be done in she failed miserable to tell me that when I was in the salon that day had I have known this I would of gone back sooner but to be told when your ready and now they want me to pay to get it sorted again this is a disgrace I have paid cash £200 and then £40 on the card for an absolute disaster which I am not happy with . I have used Tony and Guy in Holloway Road for years and never had the experience that I have had here and when I had my hair done there it was always done right .

I am a regular customer at Toni & Guy, Birmingham, and I highly recommend the salon, however, on this occasion I was left disappointed. I had booked for a colour, cut and blow dry. I normally book with Ben, but due to a last minute booking and hence availability I had another stylist. The colour was left on my hair for longer that it should have been, the stylist did not use any heat protection when blow drying my hair and the colour was not correct. It has left my hair visually burnt, with split ends, extremely rough and not the colour I wanted. I left very upset with my experience this time.

Matt was kind to me once he realised how upset I was, and I don't doubt his technical knowledge or honesty. However, the consultation was one of the most upsetting salon experiences I've ever had.

I went in with inspiration photos and was told things such as "I'm not a magician" and that I didn't have anywhere near enough hair to achieve the look I wanted. While I understand the reality that fine hair has limitations, the way this was communicated left me feeling completely crushed. I ended up in tears in the chair.

To be fair to Matt, he did later try to help and moved the conversation towards finding a version of the style that would work with the hair I have. By that point, though, the damage had already been done emotionally.

I appreciate honesty from a stylist and I would much rather be told the truth than sold false promises. However, there is a difference between explaining limitations and making a client feel hopeless. Hair can be a very sensitive subject, especially for women dealing with thinning or fine hair, and I left feeling devastated rather than supported.

The haircut itself wasn't terrible, but I wasn't happy with the result and later sought a second opinion elsewhere, where the cut was adjusted in a way that better suited me.

I don't believe Matt intended to be unkind, and I appreciate the compassion he showed once he realised how distressed I was. However, the overall experience left me feeling deeply upset, and unfortunately that's what I will remember most.

Absolutely wonderful!! I was going for a new look so was a little worried but from the Spa area to the final result the service I received was perfect. Dee coloured my hair and was so thoughtful and lovely - she is extremely talented and the results were exactly as I wanted. Urvis then worked his magic with my hair restyle and I couldn’t be happier. He made it relaxing and fun - a very skilled and artistic stylist. I can’t thank all the team at T&G Wimbledon enough for such a fabulous experience xxx

Worst haircut of my life. I had hair down to my waist and asked for a trim, a man cut my hair into the awkward phase of a bob. It is choppy and super blunt which is the exact opposite I asked for. Clearly no care for clients I would never go here again

Sono andata con il desiderio di fare un cambio look, ma sono tornata a casa peggio di prima.Mi hanno fatto vedere una foto,ma ho detto che il taglio mostrato non mi piaceva …affidandomi alla professionalità e alle recensioni lette, ho lasciato procedere .. una volta finito non ho avuto il coraggio di dire la verità, visto che il danno era fatto, inoltre avevo paura di un aumento del conto se avevo altre richieste e contestazioni.I colpi di sole sono delle ciocche ben definite e non l’effetto naturale da me richiesto.
