Total waste of money
I’ve been with tin hat for just under 2 years, never claimed. I rang tin-hat customer service 3 weeks ago about my iPhone 8. It took 2 weeks for them to send me a email saying my claim had been accepted. That’s 2 weeks without a phone . They said they would be In touch with how I send my phone to be repaired. I’ve hared nothing since .
They are very cheap per month and it’s very easy to set up an account. But claiming is a shambles. Today’s date is 11/10/2020 . Still no email. I’ve wasted £200 on this useless company.
Total waste of time .

Great customer service
I received an email regarding automatic renewal of my annual policy which I decided to cancel as I had cover elsewhere. I replied to ask them to cancel it and 5 minutes later had received a reply saying they had actioned my request. Great customer service!

Requested some information via email. Avtar emailed almost instantly with some answers. 10 minutes later my policy was updated. Can't fault Avtar or TinHat.

Very efficient
Very efficient. Had a screen replaced on a Samsung phone. Received quick and simple service. Also had experience switching insurance onto a new phone which was made very simple with just one phone call.
